Beautiful view, but it ended there. No amenities for the price. The beach for campers was closed. The water park was terrible. You also had to pay for it separate, not included in your stay. Overpriced and all we got was a camp space. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Nashville Shores was the 55th park we have stayed in. We stayed overnight and was in the park from 3 pm to 9:30 am the next morning with the park slated to close December 5 for the season. On a lake and about 15 miles east of Nashville, the park was connected to a water park, had a ropes course and jet skis. It looks like a great place to stay in season if you have children. The sites were asphalt pads and the roads were paved and could have a nice view of the lake or walk to it. Had a very large... Read More

Overall, would rate it a 3.8 and would consider staying here in the future.

We camped for a weekend in October 2020. The campground needs a little TLC but wasn't horrible. Our campsite was by the lake and was a nice level spot. Didn't use the bath house or other facilities since we had a full hookup site. Rained all weekend so didn't really get to sit out, have a campfire and enjoy the evenings by the lake but that wasn't their fault. Has a large water park area so if that's open and you're looking for peace and quiet not sure you'd get that here. Would probably stay again... Read More

Am currently a guest at this resort, but could not wait to get home to write this review. When we pulled in we were thrilled with our site next to the lake. The bathrooms are atrocious at the RV park and not much better at the waterpark. Arrived Thursday and water was all over the floor from showers. Stayed like that daily. I wont even begin about the bugs everywhere and poor food quality at the waterpark. Staff doesn't seem to know anything or care. So yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I wont be back.

we knew the water park was closed because it was so early in April. But the Website said the Zipline park was open so we booked this place for a week. So we couldn't fish like we had planed... The campsite has a few trees giving us some shade and the breeze was nice. Would of been nice if we had access to the water but that is only for the cabin area! this is not a place we will go back to.. unless its later in the year to try the water park which looks rundown some too!

Throughout our stay, the staff was very friendly.
My low ratings are due to a couple of reasons... first, there was quite a bit of junk laying around the campground (like: pieces of plastic silverware, pieces of rubber, old bent up tent stakes, pieces of metal). In addition to these items, the site we were camping on had a broken cement slab which prohibited us from being able to back our camper up all the way which would have allowed for us to park our truck on the cement slab as well (we ended up parking in the area which should have been grass but was actually muddy and had very little grass present.
We brought out dog along and were super excited that the campground had a dog park, however the park was full of sharp rocks and when I walked around I found pieces of glass and sharp metal.
In addition, the park was in the process of putting in some new cement pads by the water park which will be great for their business this coming summer, however: it wasn't so great when the cement truck and workers started working at 6:30 a.m.!!!
In fairness... the park had only been open for 1 week after being closed all winter. But, it appeared like the last day of the season they just closed up and left everything where it was. It's too bad they didn't take the time to clean up the campground so that it would be safe for the future campers...
This campground has the potential to be a really fun place for families but in the current shape it's in, I would be concerned about injuries.
On a good note... the lake was pretty to look at and there were plenty of birds swimming on it.

The staff was friendly upon check in. The park is okay but was not kept up as well as others. There are concrete pillars in certain areas which make navigating to and from your site somewhat of a challenge depending on what section you are in. The restrooms/showers were disgusting with molded shower curtains and dirty floors. The internet was simply awful, wifi signal is strong but there is no bandwidth to speak of.
What a great location, adjacent to a water park and lake, perfect! Great shuttle service to Downtown Nashville AND also to the Grand Ole Opry. Plenty to do, and really I can't believe the foolish negative reviews, no pool, really? There's a lake to play on and an entire water park. What Glampers!! Well worth the $$ and even the extra costs.

Expectations can be a difficult thing. We expected a resort like RV Park (such the many we have stayed at prior as we are not new at the travel trailer experience and understand the word "resort" is used loosely in differing contexts) the price for this stay Implied to us ($60 ish per day) as did the high Sams rating (Who provides these high scores?) that we were entering a very nice place. So this fell way short of our expectations and I will give some specifics so you can decide if this could be a good fit for you or your family. Let me put this into two categories for your convenience
1. Who this place might be a great option for
2. And the rest of us
Please verify accuracy with the Park on this pricing info if you plan on going, I believe I got this correct here. Also know we have no personal grievance, and we didn't have any bad interaction with staff. We are very disappointed in the high ratings and high price for what we actually did experience. This was the highest priced stay in years and the lowest quality, which says a lot considering where we have been. Anyway as I said it was our high expectations that made this one a tough stay.
1. Who this could work for - if you want to purchase a reduced two day pass...
(the season price for more than a two day stay from what I gather is the same for everyone aka no discounts,, the point is you will spend $60 Ish on the rv lot per day and pay additional money for 2 day $26 Ish 2 day pass or $59 for season pass if you want more than two days, say 3 days or 4 days, you will need to pay full season rate)
...and plan to spend the bulk of your time in the water park and want the convenience of being on location and not having to spring for parking, I believe you would really enjoy the water park and being where the action is for your stay. If you don't really care too much about other RV Park amenities, you should be reasonably happy here. The water park looked amazing, people seemed to be having a great time. Major crowds each day, with happy loud had by all.
2. If your not planning the water park, this RV park falls way short of most things we expect for the price. Remover the price didn't include access to the water park, in addition the website as I recall suggested we would be on this nice lake with swimming, boating, water skiing etc. we could find no access point as he entire park is chaIn fenced, the rental area for the boated, etc had no swimming signs (small unattractive area from a swimming point of view anyway) by the way it was very hot and no pool or lake to swim in unless you paid for water park or rented a jet ski or something. We just wanted to spend a few days in a nice park before we moved on. We had just come off a great "Resort" in Oklahoma that had free swimming pool, amazing bathrooms, lodge with televisions, ping pong tables, pool tables, great facilities by way of kitchen and a host of nice things included and the price was $52 a day. The water park doesn't provide any of this, of course you can pay and enjoy the water park (see category 1 above)
Here at the water park RV We had a good flat concrete pad, no trees but level. The sewer has raised tubes and this an issue but minor in the grand scheme of things.
The dumpsters in our stay were nearby and for whatever reason, constantly full and overflowing, a tall wierd design, apparently the only one for the park? Amusingly I had to attempt a throw or two to get our garbage onto the heap as side doors were full up. Again minor stuff really.
The bathrooms, just unpleasant and aged. I suppose the Oklahoma resort spoiled us.
No lodge area or kitchen, at least not that I found walking about in the multiple days we had booked here. Seriously I didn't care about the water park, I saw the super great Sam rating similar to other great places and thought let's stay here. It was on stop in many going across country and back again.
When we arrived we were told where to go, no escort like the many other places for a lot less money, again a minor thing except, when we got to our spot someone was parked in our spot. Long story short they foolishly parked and went onto water park for the day. We could not reach any live staff, so we found the free parkers and they graciously moved (all this was time consuming and not real pleasant) again a minor thing but these minor things start to add up and add up was what my massive bill was for an unpleasant RV Park, I mean "resort" - humor intended and not snarky meanness.
This is getting a little long and I am at another stop, another resort, except this one has free pool, nice facilities, kitchen, lodge, tv and other nice things like not smelly or not overflowing and convenient garbage bins. More than one, they are spoiling me in these non water park resorts. ??

We arrived after dark and missed the office which was closed. Someone else in the park helped us find our spot. There was no WiFi that we could find. The restrooms were OK. We've paid less for much nicer RV resorts. There's not much else in this part of Nashville which is why we stayed here.
This RV Campground does not reflect Good Sam's rating of 10-9-10. This is an older RV park that is declining. The bathrooms and laundry room were dirty. Maintenance around the park is not being maintained. Appears no effort in updating facilities such as painting or keeping grounds clean. Stone steps from the office to lower level jagged and could be dangerous if you were to fall. Speed bumps too high for motor homes. Sites level and good view on lake. But overall feeling is this place is going... Read More

Our last stop on a two week 2000 mile journey and we are quite a bit disappointed with the park layout, staff, and overall maintenance of the park. The park sites are very tight and have awkward concrete blocks scattered throughout that prevent easy entrance into some of the pull throughs. We had to be relocated because I could not get my 43 foot toy hauler up on the pad at all. We had to be relocated because I could not get my 43 foot toy hauler up on the pad at all. The sites are very tired looking, busted up connection boxes, open wiring, leaky faucets, and sewer connections that actual sit too high above ground created a backflow issue. What they don't tell you is during the day when the water park is running you will frequently loose water pressue and without a pump....won't' be washing dishes or taking a shower. The staff is mostly summer season kids so they really don't know much about the RV park which frustrated and made for long waits on the phone while we were waiting for answers to some of our questions. Speed bumps into the park are really bad...be prepared to pick up dishes when you open up your rig. They are almost like hiting a parking block...its quite bad. Overall....we were surprised at how tired and poorly kept everything is. For the price...I have stayed in much better camps. The water park is convenient if you have kids but the savings by being a camper is not that much so don't book here just to keep a few bucks. It doesn't work that way. We won't be coming back to this campsite but we will be coming back to Nashville. The city is a lot of fun!

We had one of the backin spots facing the lake. It was beautiful and quiet. Watching the sun set over that lake every night was perfect and downtown Nashville is only 15 minutes away. The water park was closed down and to us was perfect cause it made the whole place very low key. Will definitely come back.
Park is nice, a little tight depending on your spot. They need to think about how they make reservations, we stayed 2 nites and had to move To a different site and many others had to do the same. It was like musical chairs. Park needs more directional signage to assist when entering and leaving the park. As of right now there is only one sign when entering the park. Also the laundry facility is outdated, washers/dryers need to be replaced, dryers were not functioning properly.
The resort was getting ready for the HalloweenScream annd totally ignored the campgroud. In the 5 days we were there the ladies bathroom was NEVER cleaned. It was listed as having cable and wifi; neither were working and no refund of any type was given. It looked like a wonderful place to take a grandchild. What a disappointment.
The park is nice enough but be prepared that the pull through sites are right next to the waterpark which opens in May. I am glad we were here before it opened. There is NO WIFI at your campsite. You have to go sit by the office. The sites are narrow. You must walk in the grass to get to your motorhome if you have popouts. So anytime it rains, you track water into the coach. The laundry room worked great but there is a very loud video game in there making it unbearable so I sat in my car to wait for the laundry. The staff is wonderful and helpful.
You share a driveway to the water park so they have monster speed bumps. My dishes were terribly rearranged by the time we got to our campsite. The lake is beautiful to look at. The location is great. Easy to get into Nashville. Great trees in the park but our satellite couldn't get a signal. We watched the cable TV provided with a good selection of channels but no guide. If you are a big rig towing, you may be cramped. With our dolly trailer attached, there is not enough room to park the car in our space fully.

Do not recommend a unit longer than 36' with tow. Especially lake front spaces. Very hard to turn around and get out.
I was incredibly disappointed in this campground. This campground is not big rig friendly- the turns in and out of spots are incredibly difficult. I watched 3 big rigs have to go on curbs to make turns. Bathroom facilities were poor- we wouldn't shower in them. Great location for small rigs and if you do not have to use restrooms or showers. I had difficulty reaching a staff member when it was necessary.
Great location with Lake views. Needs a little maintenance. Entry is challenging/tight for a Big Rig if you're pulling a trailer. Sites not as long as they say but we squeezed in. Friendly, helpful staff.

Not sure exactly sure how I am going to get out. I would recommend this place if you can get spaces that are the pull throughs which are further up the hill and away from the water. The sites needed the grass mowed and the fire rings had not been cleaned out from earlier campers. Hope this helps those like myself who had never been here. Happy camping.
