The downtown area is pleasant walk and the numerous murals are interesting. The overall score was influenced greatly by its location in Alpine, Texas.

Our first time stay at this park was pleasant. We had stayed in the city before, so we were familiar with this small town. The location of the RV park was convenient for necessities and some attractions. We used this as our home base to visit Big Bend National Park, Fort Davis and Marfa Lights. Fort Davis was about 27 miles away: Big Bend about 90 miles and Marfa 30 miles. We didn't see any other RV parks that we thought would have been better, although there were some that were closer. We stayed a week, but felt we needed a couple more days for Big Bend. Places worth visiting in Alpine include Bakers Dozen for great donuts and kolaches. Guzzi Up had great pizza at reasonable prices. We had eaten at Reata's before and looked forward to dining there again. Generally, the food was good, but the steak was very tough. Since I had a very good steak dinner before, it was disappointing and expensive choice this time. But, I would try this restaurant. Where else can you get calf fries? La Casita Mexican restaurant was cash only and disappointing. The milk was sour and the food mediocre. Check out was odd and slow. The waitress never gave us a check and the check out person never did either. We probably paid for the sour milk and who knows what else. It was very noisy, with unhappy children (that might have drank the sour milk). For the money, I would expect better food and service. But it seemed to be a local favorite, so maybe it was just a bad day. All of these places were close to the park. The park was quiet and the staff was efficient and friendly. A great place to stay along the Hwy 90 route.

great RV park!!! People are friendly and the facilities are clean. lots of trees for shade and well worth the trip. The town is very quaint and visitor friendly. I will be staying here again!
Very clean park, well kept. Seemed to be several full-time residents living in the park, so it was a little noisy early as people left to go to work. On this two week trip, stayed at several Good Sam Parks, this was the only one I had to pay a higher rate for 50 amp, wasn't terrible, but thought it was a little odd. On check in, younger couple was extremely nice and friendly, after two days, decided to extend stay for an additional night, older couple working that day seemed to be inconvenienced... Read More

Did not use restroom or laundry facilities, but with the rest of the park looking so nice, I'd be surprised if they weren't also very nice.

Regular stop for us while visiting family. Friendly folks. The trees planted over the years provide much needed shade.
One of the nicest RV parks we've stayed at. They have the best shower / restrooms, Level, gravel sites. Only gotcha is that the water faucet is below ground level. Will stay here again.
Rolled into town without a reservation and was thrilled to get the last site. Very nice park. Nice dog walk area, close to town with necessities. Only stayed 1 night. Would stay again.
Hidden away in Alpine Texas, this is a hidden jewel of RV Parks. The staff is great, the sites are spacious and spread out. Even the big rigs had room to spread out. Clean park, clean bathrooms, and just an overall joy to spend time at!!
