The Hwy 71 RV Park was convenient to the highway, and thus to the airport, about ten or so miles back towards Austin, but the road noise was constant. The sites were satisfactory, if a little scruffy. They were perpendicular to the somewhat narrow lanes, and at my site there was a power pole with cable supports, so geting into and out of the site required great care. Once there, the site was spacious, with plenty of room to park my truck in front. I was on the end of the row, and right across the... Read More

At the price it was a reasonable value, but I doubt that I would go back.

I rated this park one star only because there was nothing lower. It started with the rude girl that checked us in, she did not give us the Good Sams discount even though they had been advised of our membership. I had to return to the office to make sure this discount was applied. It is a gated park but the gate was left open all day. The sights were in no way even close to being level. No picnic table or bbq grill. The grass had not been mowed for quite a while. The sites that were occupied were... Read More

I was afraid to see what the bath houses and pool were like based on how dirty the rest of the park was.(And we were never given the code) We were in a pull thru spot next to the Hiway so lots of road noise. To top all this off the nightly charge is $50. A Walmart parking lot has more appeal than this park.

This is one of the first times that a Good Sam rating has let me down. This is an old tired park that needs lots of work. Water pressure is poor, the interior roads are poor. The front pull throughs are close together. The office staff was friendly but not very helpful. It is a storage facility and an RV park. The storage facility actually looked to be in better shape.
