Reasonable rates in nice location! I am really enjoying my time here.... We camped at Karstens RV Resort in a Tent Trailer.
This truely is a great place to live in your RV. Quiet, peaceful, friendly. Reasonable rates, friendly owners & maintenance people. I loved it there. Great price and wonderful staff
This is a great place to stay for people without kids. They do have a pool but not much else. It is a nice quiet park, but poorly lit at night. They do not sell their propane by the gallon. They charge 30 dollars for a 30# cylinder. Go to town and get it at U Haul. The wi fi is ok until evening when it gets crowded. Overall it is a great Park.
I read reviews before making reservations. I was surprised at the high ratings this park has received. First, after a month on the road, I was thrilled that this park had concrete sites instead of gravel, however, the site we are in is not level at all. Most of the rigs around us at blocked as well. How hard is it to pour concrete and get it level? Secondly, I used the shower and restroom facilities. There are only two showers, and they are in separate rooms on the other side of the building... Secondly, I used the shower and restroom facilities. There are only two showers, and they are in separate rooms on the other side of the building from the restrooms. So, I ended up going back and forth to the restroom, then back to the shower, then back to the restroom to finish getting ready. I have never seen this configuration on before and don't recommend it. The facilities were clean, but really inconvenient. Also, this is a fairly new park in a college town (Texas A&M), but for the 115 spaces available, there are only two showers and two restrooms, all located next to the pool at the entrance.
Thirdly, while I appreciate the concrete, the sites are narrow, and we ended up stepping out into wet, unmowed grass every morning and tracking in grass all day. The sites are close together, and they are all back-ins. The streets between sites are also narrow, and with cars parked in front of rigs, backing in to the site in the dark wasn't much fun. I am not sure if we had a larger rig we would have made it.
There are many permanent residents, apparently, but it was quiet on the weekend we were there (the football game was an away game).
On the bright side, the staff was friendly, there is a pool (closed), and they do have propane for sale. It's quiet, but about seven miles out of town.
This is one of the few RV parks around College Station, and, as we have family in the area, we'll probably need to stop here again, but I'm looking for alternatives.

Came in town for the A&M Ring Ceremony. Pulled the RV park information up as a Good SAMs member. Made a last minute reservations. This is a nice new RV park. Very clean. Full hook ups, Wifi, and cable. Pet friendly, nice pool. Office is amazing and staff just as amazing. Had a great stay.
