The bad: Internet--there are a good number of WiFi towers. Unfortunately, a day or two after our stay, we experienced some high winds and that supposedly knocked something out. For the remained of our stay (a month total) internet was spotty at best. The front office was always professional and courteous and told us that they were working on it. The good: Location--located on a nice spot of the Dickinson Bayou that supports a marina, two fishing docks and two ponds. Other than the occasional neighbor noise, the park is quiet. Campground is located within easy driving to all places Houston and Galvaston. . .pretty close to half way between the two. The campground has a nice laundry facility, a guest lounge with TV, Kitchen, some workout equipment and mail. They also offer Ice, movies and books. Utilities were well placed on level concrete pads with a few palm trees providing a little shade. Lots of snowbirds (us included) but there seems to be a fair amount of folks departing and arriving each day. Campground is kept clean and tidy and lots of room for walking fur babies. Roads are plenty wide and sites are slanted to ease getting in and out.
