Our group of 30 RV's had our Texas Rally at the Knights of Columbus RV Park, we had RV's from Texas and 7 other states and our group stayed over a week. The campground is not a fancy resort, but has plenty of clean well maintained 30 and 50 AMP spaces. The sites have level cement pads and grassy areas around each RV and the lots are large. It is quiet, you do not get any highway noise and it is very clean and all grass areas are mowed. The only reason that I gave the appeal rating a four is... Read More

The only reason that I gave the appeal rating a four is that there are no trees or shade if that is an issue for other travelers. We had the opportunity to use the meeting hall and it is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and sink areas. It also has a divider counter between the kitchen and the hall area for serving. The Park manager, the RV Park Administrator and the on site host could not have been more helpful and accommodating and with over 60 people we had many needs during our stay, they feel like friends. The park is central to the town and close to Shiner, LaGrange, Gonzales and Schulenberg with lots to see in the area and you will not find a more welcoming town than Hallettsville. The park is well lit and has gravel roads throughout and all are kept in good condition. The few long term guests are very nice and came over to introduce themselves and welcome us to the area. I cannot imagine visiting the area and not staying at the Knights of Columbus RV Park, it is a hidden gem.

We recently hosted an RV rally at this RV Park. The park hosts and facilities were top notch! Outstanding Rally Hall and amenities. The park itself is a basic RV Park, very clean, well kept with pull thru or backin sites with concrete pads, 30/50 amp, full hookup sites, pet friendly, right behind the largest K of C council hall in the state of Texas. Did not use the cable TV or WiFi service but it is available. Great central location to stay for enjoying and exploring the central Texas area. Also... Read More

This park is awful! It is surrounded by gas wells. They burn trash and brush that fills the campground with noxious smoke. The grass is never mowed. There are ant hills everywhere. Crimes were constantly being reported. The cable doesn't work. Don't even bother trying to use the horrible wifi. Staff will just block your device and tell you it's not for everyone. The manager is very rude. There are no amenities at all. I wish I could rate this place zero stars. I do not recommend staying here for... Read More
