I see the only published rating is 1 star and 5 years old. I stayed here in July 2021 for 3 weeks and my experience is positive. I needed a park that was convenient to MD Anderson and shuttle bus provided excellent service Fancy no, but was clean, safe (gated), and management was extremely helpful. Sites are small but, adequate for Class A MH.

I would avoid this RV park at all costs!! This RV park is located in a very sketchy part of town. Homeless people abound. The RV park has a fence surrounding the park with barbed wire on top. That should have given me a clue. It has no swimming pool or park for the kids. Unless you have a bathroom with a shower in your RV that you are planning to use, then you're in for a "special" treat! I would avoid this RV park at all costs!! This RV park is located in a very sketchy part of town. Homeless people abound. The RV park has a fence surrounding the park with barbed wire on top. That should have given me a clue. It has no swimming pool or park for the kids. Unless you have a bathroom with a shower in your RV that you are planning to use, then you're in for a "special" treat! This park has 108 spots yet only provides one toilet/shower combo. Granted most of the RVs on the premises were Class A motor homes and I am sure they used their own facilities (I know I would have). I, however, have a small pop-up with no bathroom/shower. I wasn't the only person in the park using the bathroom though, and had to wait several times for it to be available and for it to "air" out (gross). Technically, they had two bathrooms, but one was kept locked at all times. So that left one bathroom/shower combo. It was absolutely filthy. It had not been cleaned during my 5 day stay. The only toilet paper available were the dirty wads of it stuck to the floor on the side and behind the toilet. There were no paper towels either. Whenever I turned on the lights and opened the door, cockroaches would scatter in all directions. There was all kinds of unidentifiable debris in the shower drain and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in the last 5 years. There was an air conditioner mounted in the wall but no outlet near enough to plug it in. The bathroom was a hot house and when you add the steam from a shower, it was unbearable. There was a sign on the door asking to kindly turn on the vent, but there was no switch for a vent. I can safely say, I will never, ever use this park again. The sad thing is, when I looked up the reviews for this park on-line prior to booking my stay, it received good reviews. How? I'll never know.
