Our first stop on our 28 day road trip out west! When we were pulling into the park, I was skeptical that we made the right choice, but I couldn't be more wrong. The curbside appeal isn't spectacular (Park sign is torn and tattered, pole is in need of a paint job), but the facility is a well kept, clean park. Our pull thru was plenty big enough for our 43 ft RV and the SUV (with bike rack) on the dolly. The office staff was knowledgeable and quick to get us on our way. We visited the pool and hot... We visited the pool and hot tub with the kids and we all enjoyed it pool area was very clean. One of the neighbors had an issue with the 50A power breaker on their spot and the maintenance manager was onsite as soon as they were contacted and fixed the problem immediately. Our overall experience at this park has been wonderful. Would highly recommend it to anyone with or without kids. Park was very quiet at night with the exception of I-45 (very close proximity to the park), but even it wasn't bad. No review on the restrooms because we did not visit them...

Stayed here for three nights with 37 ft 5th wheel. Park is typical RV park with rigs in close proximity to each other. Pads are concrete with full facilities. Cable is good, wi fi is strong but very slow. Managers are only around till about noon but works ok. Pretty well kept considering that most of the tenants are obviously here for long period but management appears to make them keep their units cleaned up. Close to freeway which is good for access to Houston and Space Center (few miles,... Read More

Take an extra day and drive to Galveston to see old ship Elissa (about 25 miles)

Big rigs are no issue here. Not sure the other comment. Close to NASA. Quiet stay.

Old park with tight spaces for big rigs. In fact, getting into our assigned site pulling our 43' fifth wheel was an impossibility. Fortunately, we were able to get into the site next to that one because it happened to be available. When the office opened the next morning, simply had to tell them which site we took. There was no other available site in the park that would have fit us. Getting back out was tight, and signage for the exit a little misleading. Did not use the laundry. Available... Read More

Available discount for Johnson Space Center only came up in casual conversation. Otherwise would not have known. Heard there are gators and snapping turtles in the ditch that runs through camp, but did not see any. Cracker Barrel is next door to the park. It was clear there were several LONG time residents of this park.
