This place has gorgeous campsites with a fire ring and chairs, hot tubs, and a pier. Sunsets were amazing, and deer everywhere. We will be going back.
So giving benefit of the doubt here because we stayed Friday and Saturday night, but park was overcrowded with extra vehicles-3 or 4. at sites near us. Looks like some type of family reunion. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you won’t find it on a water site. Bathrooms were to b cleaned 3x daily, however this am at 7 am- the bathrooms had not been cleaned- trash full, paper towels on ground, toilet dirty. We won’t b back
We are so very happy to have found Wind Point Park, a treasure for relaxing on weekends away from everything hectic in DFW! We are looking forward to moving our Custom Design Inspiation travel trailer on to our lovely, treed Extended Stay site. We live in Arlington Texas and wanted a place within a few hours of travel, and Wind Point is only 1hour 30 minutes away. We did a lot of research before we started looking and this is the very best fit we could find for our desires and needs!

The park is absolutely beautiful, deer running all around and birds singing in the morning. Very peaceful place to stay. We had a waterfront site at only $41 per night. There is a beautiful picnic table as well as a very nice fire ring. The sunsets are awesome here. They have a staff that goes out of their way to insure everyone has what they need. The park store is very nice and has a nice selection of goods. They even have RV supplies. While driving around I notices a area under construction,... Read More

While driving around I notices a area under construction, I found out they are putting in a area for those who want to keep their unit at Wind Point and create their own Lake House. What a great idea, we will have to check on that. If you are in the area please stop and stay you will not be disappointed.
