The folks here are wonderful. I'm writing this to ensure others in large coaches know the entrance is quite difficult to maneuver. I'm in a 43-foot coach with a tow vehicle and was forced to swing wide left into the branches of trees to get my tow vehicle through the entrance. Please note this is a typical Texas park in that it is quite dusty. I do need to repeat the folks at the park are wonderful
OVERNITE STAY WHILE TRAVELING. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
This is a very nice facility. The people are exceptionally nice and helpful, both on the phone for reservations and upon arrival. Someone guided us to our site with a four wheeler and was available for assistance should we have needed it. ENCLOSED DOG PARK was bonus as our dogs had been riding all day and they loved the game of ball before bed! The bathrooms/showers are worthy of suburban America. 5 miles from many good eating places. And a fitness facility with essentials - cardio, weight bench,... Read More

Typical RV park that caters to the oil industry workers in the area. The sites are dirt and gravel, small and tight. The park has a small dog area and a building with bathrooms and laundry services that are heavily used by the long term residents. The price is reasonable and the staff was helpful. We will stay here again for an overnight rest when traveling through the area. See our updates and pictures at our blog at thegilliamsisland.
Staff is helpful and accomodating.
We are a full-time RVing family with 2 children, who have to be in the Permian Basin regularly for our business. We have stayed at Midland RV now about 5 or 6 times for about 3-4 days at a time. We have always been greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. The park is super clean. There are two well-kept dog runs, which our puppy really appreciates. They have made a point to make us feel at home and always ask how our children are doing when we return. As a mom, that means a lot to... Read More

They have made a point to make us feel at home and always ask how our children are doing when we return. As a mom, that means a lot to me, and it makes me feel like we have friends here. The park is easily accessible, as it is right off of I-20, but it's tucked in enough you don't feel like you're right on the highway. The pull through spaces are wide with plenty of room for our 42 ft. Sandpiper with 4 slides and our truck. The last time we arrived, our electrical was not working properly. The maintenance guy was very helpful. He came over, replaced the outlet in about 10 minutes, and we were up and running. We really enjoy staying at Midland RV and look forward to the next time we are in town.
