This is a simple park, the main appeal is the golf course next to it and the golf and stay package you can get. The golf course is a basic municipal course that is average at best. The RV park has no amenities at all really. It has an old rusty swing set, a bath house with laundry but after $4.50 I stopped trying to figure out which washer worked. 90% of the people in the park are full timers. I stayed here for a week with my pups. The hosts are great but again this is more of a long term park than... Read More

The park advertises the pads have "repurposed" asphalt. Our 40' motor home's back end sunk when we backed into the spot. We put the jacks down and they just sunk further. We raised the jacks filled the hole with more asphalt chunks and put our plastic bases down and it still sunk about half a foot. There is no reception for ATT cell users. They advertise free wifi, but that is sketchy. We were at the back end of the park and could see a wifi receiver 2 spots from us but you had to hold the... Read More

We were at the back end of the park and could see a wifi receiver 2 spots from us but you had to hold the device just right and even then you could lose a signal. There are a LOT of full timers, probably more students from SFA but we saw several dayworkers and retired people who were homesteading. The park is convenient to the Woodlands Golf course but getting there means driving out onto Hwy 69 where the speed limit is 75 and people drive 85. It is a divided 4 lane but you are pulling out from a gravel road onto what feels like the Daytona 500. I'm not sure about other RV sites around Nacogdoches but we won't be back to this one.
