There's a few things you need to know about this park before you make a reservation. All sites are back-in and not very long. We have a 38' fifth wheel and we couldn't park our truck in front or next to our rv. Site was short and very narrow. Park is full of grass burrs. I stepped on one and got a nasty sore and our dogs were miserable. We were warned by others to not take our dogs to the dog park areas due to fleas, ticks and parvo. One set of dumpsters, laundry, facilities, etc. at the very front of the park so it was a hike to get to them. Lots of full-timers who thought they ran the place. We were calling them the "geriatric police" by the end of our stay. They want you to wear these tight, rubber wrist bands while at the pool. I can't have rubber, plastic, etc. next to my skin or I break out in a painful rash. I tried to explain this to the "in your face" older man but he harrassed us on a daily basis about me not wearing it. I pinned the band to my pool bag and wrapped it around my drink cup but that wasn't good enough. He threatened to throw us out if I didn't wear it. Just ridiculous. So many people in the pool not wearing the stupid wrist bands but he just kept harrassing us.
Grounds are not well maintained - grass burrs, trash around buildings and entrance, chunks of concrete in piles, not enough trash cans for dog poop. So, so, so many rules. Oh and if you want internet and cable you have to drive to Brownsville and pick up the equipment from Spectrum and then return the equipment when you leave. Won't be back and would not recommend.

Large mobile home, rv park. All spaces are back in. Roads are concrete with dirt and grass lots. All services are at the back of unit, so you must have very long electric cable and sewer drain. Rest rooms and washing facilities are clean and well maintained. Overall a nice park close to downtown Port Isabel and South Padre Island.
