We had a great short stay here at the park. Restrooms are clean, the pool is nice, and they even have a little gym. I would give 5 stars but the wifi is terrible and is only for “checking email”, but i couldn’t get it to work at all. Other than that I would recommend the park!
The staff were all very nice, Chloe was exceptional. The park was well maintained, the sites were decent, stone not paved but fine. A lot of extended stay and full timers who had the best sites (nice trees ect) but still we enjoyed our stay and can recommend this campground
This is a lovely, quiet & clean park tucked away near main roads. Sites were level, large, and each site had its own trash can. We didn't use the laundry, exercise room, or pool as we were only there two nights, but they appeared to be very clean and inviting. The dog park was great - very pet-friendly. Would recommend this park!
Overnited here as it was the closest park to family living in the area. Paid $63 with Good Sam discount I assumed that we would get at least cable for this price but no cable avail. I can get no channels over air either. Talked to other guests and they get no air channels. Space (gravel) is very narrow Staff is friendly but I would not stay in this park again for this price (certainly over priced )
We called and they said they don’t reserve Rv sites. So when we got there the site we preferred was not occupied. So we asked for that site. We were told we could not have the site because someone else was coming the next day into that site. I said I thought you didn’t reserve sites. They said that’s correct, but I still couldn’t have the site because they were holding it for someone else. We were there 3 nights and nobody ever came into that site. I am giving an overall of a 2 due to the fact that the reservation system is very poor. We submitted a reservation after office hours for that night as we were passing through and needed a place to rest for the night. The website does not give any direction. Received an email stating our reservation was in "quote" status and someone would get with us shortly. In the email it stated that if we cancelled within 24 hours we would be charged full price. Received an email stating our reservation was in "quote" status and someone would get with us shortly. In the email it stated that if we cancelled within 24 hours we would be charged full price. We received no communication and therefore, since we provided our vehicle information and credit card, proceeded to the campground. We found an open spot, as it was 12:30am. We were awoken the next morning and informed that we were in the wrong spot. Which isn't a problem, but the accusations that followed that we were trying to stay without paying was insulting. We were told we should have stayed in the OverNight spot at the front. However, there were no instructions in the email received from the submission or at the office letting campers know about the overnight spot. Very poor first impression of the staff.

VERY rude staff. Throughout my 5 month stay at Northlake Village, I've really enjoyed the facilities, my spot, the neighbors, and the views. The park itself is a seemingly good place to settle. The bathhouses are in clean condition, and the pool looks like it will be a great place to swim this summer. There are a lot of green areas and it's a very pet-friendly area. My issues are solely with management. There is a waitlist for this park, though the organization at the front office seems to... Read More

The bathhouses are in clean condition, and the pool looks like it will be a great place to swim this summer. There are a lot of green areas and it's a very pet-friendly area.
My issues are solely with management. There is a waitlist for this park, though the organization at the front office seems to need an update with managing this list from the miscommunication before check in. They will surely let you know HOW many people are on said list, but take issue letting you know where you are on it.
Management has also changed recently. Please don't expect this to be accommodating. Aggressive might be a better term. Maybe even militant. It doesn't matter if you pay rent on time or keep to yourself, clean up, etc, they really care of you know their RULES. There are rules and regulations within this park, and they are strict. 7 mph, do not go 9 mph. You will be pulled over by a man on a golf cart and reminded what the speed limit is.
All of that to say, if you can put up with some rudeness from the front office staff, some power happy maintenance men, and random gunshots from the neighboring "adventure park" that just held a white power rally, you've got yourself a lovely place to stay!

What an amazing park!!! It certainly deserves the Good Sam Review 10/10/10, from the front office to the maintenance staff, they go above and beyond and it shows. On site laundry, swimming pool, fitness room, bath house, dog park, pavilion, picnic tables. Well definitely stay here again.
This park is absolutely beautiful! The girls in the office were so helpful in getting my reservation for me and making sure I had everything I needed to check in. Maintenance escorted me to my site which was extremely helpful in making sure I got parked. It is so quiet and peaceful here. A true camping vacation dream! Thank you Northlake Village RV Park for being so accommodating and wonderful!
We were very pleased with our stay at this campground! There is easy-off and easy-on access to I-35. The campground is close to many great restaurants, including those on Historic Oak St in downtown Roanoke. The exercise room has a good variety of workout equipment. The TVs in the workout and laundry rooms were much appreciated and the fact that they receive what seemed to be an unlimited amount of channels was a bonus! Most sites have beautiful trees. The office is a cute little building which looks like a house and people in the office are very friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again

This was the first time staying at this park and we loved it and will be back again! Everything from the up keep of the park to the amazing staff. When we checked in we were greeted with a smile and a very efficient check in process. Everyone from the front office staff to the managers were VERY friendly and helpful. Can't wait to stay again!
We were not told that we would be charged for electrical usage when the reservation was made or when we checked in. We will never stay here again. Site was expensive with no picnic table, very small pool, camper sites on top of each other, poorly designed for back in parking. The freeway off ramp is shut down and there is no sign as to where to go. When we mention this at the office during check in we were told there was a sign as to where to get off by argumentative staff. When we called and... Read More

I would definitely not recommend this facility. We were confronted by a pounding at our front door at 8 am to move our vehicles so they could trim trees. No advance warning. When I said I would move them later, Mgmt threatened to have them towed! We are bombarded with constant back-up alarms, weed eaters and blowers from early morning to late afternoon. Mgmt is extremely rude and don't care if you have a complaint. Extremely expensive. WiFi doesn't work. Water goes off unexpectedly with no warning.... Read More

We booked this stay based on the Good Sam rating of 10/10/10. Having visited many other 10/10/10 parks, we were very disappointed. The park obviously hasn't been rated in years. This is nothing more than a trailer park with 98% long-term residents. There are tremendously huge speed bumps that we took very slowly, yet they still managed to knock our refrigerator out of its space. The trash is a site by site pickup from Waste Management (just like a mobile home park). Many of the sites are highly... Read More

There are tremendously huge speed bumps that we took very slowly, yet they still managed to knock our refrigerator out of its space. The trash is a site by site pickup from Waste Management (just like a mobile home park). Many of the sites are highly unlevel and not appropriate for large motorhomes. Fortunately, they did accommodate us with a level site. All sites are back-in, no pull thrus are available. This park is a 100% pre-pay in advance, regardless of when you make the reservation. On a 1-10 scale compared to other parks, this park should be more like a 4 and a $20 rate (not $59). We would only stay here again in an emergency.

We stayed here 5 nights and were very pleased with every aspect of the park. The sites are level gravel, surrounded by a spacious concrete surface. WiFi and cable aren't great but the overall condition of the park is excellent. It appears that there are many permanent or long term residents - unlike most parks with similar arrangements, everyone's site is well maintained. It's near the highway(s) but very quiet. The bathrooms aren't fancy but they are private and clean. We will stay here again.
We had a great stay at this park. We were part of a large group (five RVs) in town for a youth baseball tournament. The park was able to put us all together and close to the pool and restrooms. Restrooms were pass-coded and very clean. We had about 10-12 kindergartners running around the pool and grass area nearby and no one had any issues (that we know of). Clean park, close to restaurants, shopping and Texas Motor Speedway. We would definitely come back!
What a beautiful and well maintained RV park. This hidden jewel of a park is quiet and no train or traffic noise, but only a mile from Texas Motor Speedway, Bucees, and the Outlet Mall. The sites are gravel but had even been raked, and there was not even a scrap of trash anywhere. There were trashcans at most of the sites, instead of an ugly smelly dumpster. A beautiful covered pavillion with a large table is located near the pool, with other tables on the greenway, and at the newly opened dog... Read More

This is a very expensive park for the experience. The RV sites are not level indicating a lack of proper care between visitors. The spaces are close together with no attempt to provide screening. Further there is no cable provided by the park. How could this be rated a perfect 10? For the money and the Good Sam rating, we expected much more.
The RV spots in this park are very, very small - and are NOT level. There is no outdoor table provided and no level place to put your own table. The laundry facilities are very limited (5 machines for the entire park) and the facilities are closed for cleaning at random and high peak times. The management moved our outdoor items when we were away from the site...without care or consideration. The "no refund" sign is the most prominent feature on the "welcome desk." This could be a beautiful facility - however, the property has been divided into the greatest number of RV spots, instead of consideration for the views or quality of experience for the guests. We will not be returning to this facility.

This is a nice park, but definitely not 10/10/10. The park was attractive and well located, although it was a little hard to find. Most sites were occupied by people living there which should not have been a problem except everyone going and coming passed the sites reserved for short timers, as we were. Some of those people left early to go to work and had loud pipes. WiFi was at best very spotty. It should not have been advertised as having WiFi because it was barely usable even though we were... It was somewhat overpriced considering most of the time the Wifi wasn't usable.

Very nice park. Well maintained and quiet. I have two complaints. First, the wifi didn't work at all for us and we were right by the office and pool. Secondly, we had no cable TV at our site. There were sights close to us with cable, but not ours. Of course, I didn't find this out until we were already set up. I guess I shouldn't have assumed that when they said they had Wi-Fi and Cable, they didn't mean all sites. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Very nice campground, comfortable, great pool Cons: kind of tricky to find it but once there you will be pleased. It would be a good idea to call ahead of time for instructions. We had to call because we couldn't find it. Staff - ok because when we got there I told the lady that it was tricky to find the place her comment was "some people have better GPS" instead of being apologetic . I didn't like the comment nor the attitude. In addition, we had to leave a day before we had planned and they... Read More

I will contact the management company in regards to that as soon as we get home.
Wifi - like any other RV park - so,so. As I mentioned in another review, I will not give 5 stars to any campground that does not have an acceptable wifil. We didn't use the restrooms neither the laundry.

Northlake is sufficient but all 10s is a stretch. There is a lot of construction happening just outside the campground and the road is "pothole central". I know this isn't the campground's fault but it is a factor. The office closes at 4 pm. We arrived closer to 6 pm and didn't think we were going to get our spot. I called and left a message so miraculously, our reservation information appeared taped to the office door. We had already checked the door once and it was not there. The park is... Read More
