Stonecreek rv park website still shows Free Cable TV March 2023. There is NO CABLE, only free wifi. We chose Stonecreek RV Park for location and Cable TV with sports stations, March Madness. Disappointed with false advertising and NO Free Cable.
First off, great location. Anything you would need is 5 min. away. San Antonio attractions mostly within 1/2 hour drive. The dog areas are nice, the pool areas are clean, the restrooms & showers are good and clean. Now: some of the staff are incredibly rude & nasty. They can make you feel like you are nothing but a problem & inconvenience to them. Most of the park buildings are in need of some serious maintenance. Wood is rotting or coming loose from buildings, every structure needs paint or stain,... Read More

Many of the sites have been occupied for a long time and look like homeless encampments ( old run down RV's, totes, old stuff stashed under trailers, tarps, torn flags / umbrellas, etc. ). Electric wires that should be buried are laying on top of the ground with temporary hookups, utility instillations have left crooked utility boxes all over the place & uneven gravel where grass should be.

We bought our camper at ExploreUSA in Seguin and decided to stay nearby to try it out. This was a great campground. We were greeted very warmly when we arrived and check in was a breeze. The spot was level and easy to get in and out of and hook up, even for newbies. It had a covered picnic table and plenty of room for our truck. There are guests of every variety - overnight, short stay, long stay, and permanent. Everyone was friendly. The location was great - between San Antonio and New Braunfels.... Read More

We have been coming to Stone Creeks since 2011 love this place yes improvements needed to be made and they have done this it takes time to get it all done. Yes they have raised the rates about every year improvements are being made as long as they are doing this I am happy. Lots in the 200 section are close to one another but this is an older park too you have to take that all in. Staff are very friendly and helpful as we have had problems solved. They have people on duty all the time. They have activities and a calendar that tells you what is going on plus a sign board out. IF you don't participate you are losing out. We are very pleased with park it is close to everything you need to do. It is quiet here too. I praise them for doing a great job. I recommend this park to anyone wanting to spend anytime here get to know your neighbors too. Big dog parks for little and small ones.

I sure dont understand how Good Sam Club does there ratings but they sure have to take closer looks at a lot of the RV Parks they have on-line....We stayed one night at this RV park and that was more than enough.....We ended up in Phase II area that was HMMMMMM at best....Lots of long term and worker residence and few others......the park was full...Great for their business but not a great experience for travelers. Phase I locations looked great. big sites and trees. Phase two looks like an after thought where you are so close you can almost get your awning out without hitting the RV beside you. very cramped and could certainly use a lot of TLC.... We were planning on staying a week but I have found out that you best take one day at a time and if the site turns out good add the nights then...All these camp grounds want you to book up front ahead of time then when you get there and find it is a mess you are stuck because you can not CANCEL now and get your money back...So be careful what you wish for....booking ahead is very risky i am finding out.....Pictures and Internet makes them all look great...Check out the reviews...to many negative comments and a good rating from GSC tells me GSC does not know....I also find that a GSC discount also can give you a discount site....they save the better sites for those paying full price....I would not return to this RV park unless I had a site in Phase I.....Sorry.....

I chose this park last year as it was close to where my son and family lived in Cibolo. What a gem it turned out to be so I returned this year for a few months. The park is very nice and well maintained. There are two recreation buildings with full kitchens available for use. These also house the bathrooms with showers and the laundry area. There are two dog parks with obstacles for them to play on, and of course bags are avail to pickup after. The people are very friendly and helpful and... Read More

There are pot luck socials, game nights and Bingo and special events around the holidays. And to top it all off they are located close to all the attractions of San Antonio and New Braunfels where there is something for everyone.

Good RV park close to San Antonio. Sites are complete with tables and some have shelters. They have designated dog runs so most scat is picked up. Facility is keep clean and sites have been improved with new gravel. Shelters have been painted and roofs updated. Utilities are good and Wi-Fi provided but week at times. Overall good facility except they keep raising the rates. Office personnel are very accommodating and receive forwarded mail.
Place is run down and showing its age. I think it is supposed to look like the rustic country look of Texas, but the fence leading into the park and the porch around the office looks rickety and falling apart. I thought it would get better under new management, and it has, but driving by recently verified that it is still drab and looks like it is barely holding on. Wood does need to be replaced every once in a while. There is no parking at the recreation hall and definitely need a remodel with... Read More

I thought it would get better under new management, and it has, but driving by recently verified that it is still drab and looks like it is barely holding on. Wood does need to be replaced every once in a while. There is no parking at the recreation hall and definitely need a remodel with working appliances. The bbq pits they provide are filthy. The daily stays in the front two rows are well maintained, but if you are paying for monthly you do not get a light for your space. Road are in horrible condition and they do not enforce speed through the park. Forget about the people who talk loud in the mornings and music being played loud by drivers. Unless these things change, I and my friends will not stay there again.

We stayed here during our visit to the Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch. The staff was very friendly and the place felt very rustic and had a nice home feeling. They had separated small and large dog parks which was very nice. Everything was in close proximity with easy access. I did not rate the bathrooms because we did not need to use theirs. The atmosphere is wonderful and it is pretty well organized. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the condition in certain areas. None... Read More

The atmosphere is wonderful and it is pretty well organized. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the condition in certain areas. None of the park was dirty but you can tell old areas that could use some upgrading as well as in some of the "permanent" or "long term" guests are not so much on keeping to the level of standards one would expect. It really is a great place to stay though and we will return.

We were originally going to stay here 5 days, after 2 days we had to leave, we were put in a pull thru site where there was no people around so I assumed they were permanent, the site was filthy with trash strewn around and once we parked the front end of motorhome was off the ground, not a level site, no picnic table either. They did give me a refund for the remaining 3 nites and the woman in the office had no personality, if she could of only smiled!! I don't know how this park got such a high... Read More

Stayed at this campground to visit family in the area. Staff was friendly. Didn't use many of the facilities, but did look around at them and they are adequate for our needs. There are many long term folks there, but park appeared to be well kept up. Is this a million dollar resort? Nope. But was it good for what we needed. Absolutely. If you are looking for Disneyland, look somewhere else, but if you are looking for a quiet, friendly camping space from which to tour the area and/or visit friends... Read More

We had a wonderful stay. They have a large breed and small breed dog park. The sights are gravel, well maintained, not perfectly level. The setting of the park is nice and relaxing. There are weekly activities from pot lucks to ice cream socials. The park made everything from sight seeing to merchants very accessible. We will stay here again.
So I have been here for over a year and here are my observations. Firstly I have experienced the park raising their rates 2 times since I have been here but nothing has changed by way of service or amenities, as a matter of fact the internet/wifi has gotten slower to the point of not working at all. Second the roads and RV spots are in very poor condition, bumpy and uneven. Lastly there is one particular employee (who does what around the park I'm not sure) but acts as though he is super cop or... Read More

Lastly there is one particular employee (who does what around the park I'm not sure) but acts as though he is super cop or some kind of enforcement who will bark at you for doing (well about anything), so just read the rule book very well and believe me they have quite a few rules around here. To summarize, prices are way too high for what your getting.

Sites in front are not level. We had to raise up about 6". RVs next to us had wheels off ground. Park advertises wifi but we could not access. Numerous complaints to office staff fell on deaf ears. Staff was indifferent.
Most of the facilities were very run down. Wi Fi was almost useless. I thought the place looked like it catered to the long term or permanent people. Lots of flies. The recreation room with a leaky roof had TV that didn't work well. It was freeway close though. The staff tried to be helpful with what they had to work with. Sorry.
I booked a week at this campground. When I got there, I wanted two more days. I was given a paper with the daily Price $44. I told them I was a Good Sam Member, showed them my card and ask for the discount. They said OK, printed out a receipt and I asked about the discount. They said you got it and I didn't look at the paper. When I got home, I was looking at the paper work and found out that they lied. They raised the daily price by 11% and then give me a 10% discount. So I paid more than I would have with no discount. The electricity went out on the street I was parked on. I went out to check the breaker, only to find all my neighbors out doing the same thing. My neighbor and I walked to the office to report it, it was closed. My neighbor started calling the "In Case of Emergency Number" and no one answered. He called it about 10 times, no answer. I called it another 10 times, no answer. After about an hour, the electricity just came back on. No one ever answered the phone or come out to work on it.
