Fast and easy off and on interstate. Office staff friendly and professional. Nice view of lake and ducks!! Typical noise of highway. Ease of access.

In this park there are sites to the right and more to the left after you pull into the park. Each area has it's own gated entry. I think the sites to the left are probably really nice and quieter I was told that Cable TV was only available in that area. We were just there for one night and our site was to the right, really close to I10. The road noise was really bad--there were times I felt like we were parked in the median of the interstate. However, our site was paved, large, and clean. There... Read More

I made the reservation online and there was no way to get the Good Sam discount when making an online reservation.

Much hurricane damage, no facilities available except power/water. Many damaged vehicles & trailers on property. Many hurricane victims living here. A sad state, plus right on freeway with traffic noise.

Stayed a week for short family visit-many long term older campers which is fine, but didn't seem to be rules about keeping campsite cleaned up. Some sites with a lot of junk, rickety steps, etc. Cigarette butts everywhere outside. Roads in poor condition although we were told they were going to be redone soon. We filled out and signed about 5-6 pages of waivers, rules, dog rules, etc., which was fine, except it seemed those rules weren't followed by all campers there. There were dogs loose and... We filled out and signed about 5-6 pages of waivers, rules, dog rules, etc., which was fine, except it seemed those rules weren't followed by all campers there. There were dogs loose and running around daily, and dog poop wasn't cleaned up by many. Bathrooms clean, but handwashing sink not in same room or real close to toilet, so rated it lower. Very nice laundry area, machines all worked well and air conditioned nicely. Free roaming cats that didn't seem to belong to anyone had our dog a little crazy, but otherwise didn't bother us. Close to the freeway, so a lot of road noise. If went there again, would want to go on site on other side of lake from the office--sites nicer, larger, area cleaner looking.

More of a place for long term RV living than vacation spot. Pets running thru grounds unleashed. Roads in bad shape for driving down. Pull thru spots limited.
