Tenting Sites
This is a boaters camp as most campers have a boat. This campground could be a jewel in the desert on par with the Corp of Engineers. However, the landscaping is nonexistent. No grass, shrubs or desert plants. Large level paved sites. Bathhouse is relatively new but needs deep cleaning. Do not try getting into sites 24,25,26,27,28 as they are end to end sites on the parking lot and will not fit anything larger than a 20 foot vehicle. No size trailer and truck will fit. Great place to say for a night or a week. Great views along with good trails for biking and hiking. Lots of birds including Aspreys hunting fish. The rest rooms were impeccably clean. My complements to the manager of this state park. A boaters paradise.
