It’s located just on the east end of town, near groceries and gas. The staff is friendly and their facility has all the expected amenities. However, there are infrastructure problems. When I was there, I experienced PAINFULLY SLOW WiFi and sometimes none at all. Additionally, there was a regional blackout of electrical power (Probably due to overload from the extremely high temperatures (105+). The blackout lasted about 6-7 hours until it was fixed, due to no fault of the park. The next day however,... Read More

Additionally, there was a regional blackout of electrical power (Probably due to overload from the extremely high temperatures (105+). The blackout lasted about 6-7 hours until it was fixed, due to no fault of the park. The next day however, there was a partial power failure within the park again, of which I was subjected to. After 2-3 hours in my trailer heating up, I had to retreat to the clubhouse for the remainder of the afternoon. Electricians spent most of the day tracing wiring, then major digging with heavy machinery in order to run some new lines underground.
The showers/bathrooms are air conditioned, which is a necessity in the summer Utah heat, but there is a severe space issue within the men’s showers…so tight, one can barely turn around. There is no bench or seating area for undressing/drying oneself/dressing, etc., and no shelves either. Additionally, the showers are laid out wrong, with the shower head spraying out into the tiny dressing area…makes having a suitable area for drying and dressing worthless….everywhere, it is wet.
As previously written, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the rates are good-particularly monthly, the spaces are gravel and relatively flat, however, smallish, and somewhat crowded.
If you can live with the shortcomings, it’s a good place to stay. Because of the undependable WiFi and electric, I’ll probably try somewhere else next time.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave me a space across from the grassy and shady dog park, which worked with my pets Very clean facility with support staff working on the grounds every day. Lots of shade. Love the small dog/park/dog washing area next to the restrooms. Everything kept spotlessly clean. Staff kept lots of ice and cold drinks available because of the unusual heat wave at the time. Walking distance to several fast food places, a grocery store, and a Mexican restaurant rated... Not well laid out for larger motorhome. Grounds are mixture of gravel, dirt, and grass. The office seemed nice but the spots are not well planned out and the hookups are atypical.
After staying at a couple of nasty, sandy campgrounds along the way from TN, it was wonderful to pull into the Crazy Horse RV park and be assigned a space with some grass. The dogs sure appreciate having grass to lay in and also do their business. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. All staff we came in contact with was pleasant and helpful. The office/clubhouse/store/laundry was all new and beautiful and kept very clean. One amenity we really loved was the dog wash! My two... Read More

My two Shelties got filthy quickly in all the sand and dirt of the desert and the dog wash made it so easy to bathe them thank you for offering that! There is a lovely swimming pool although we didn't use it, and a pool table and corn hole to enjoy when you aren't out visiting the parks, hiking, or riding your off road vehicles. Great campground and I loved the town of Kanab too so clean and friendly.
