This is a large KOA conveniently located right off the main highway, US-191. The sites and roads in the park are gravel with most of the sites being pull through. There are a large number of tent and cabin sites around the edges of the park. The park has a nice pool area that was popular during our stay, clean bathrooms and showers and an off leash dog run area for our four legged friends. The wifi only worked occasionally. As with most KOA parks, the price is a little higher than it should be,... Read More

This appears to be a relatively new RV Park still under construction. The trees on the sites are small. The sites and driveways are gravel. The sites are not level, at least mine was not and I saw wheel levelers being used at other sites as well. There are grilles on the sites but not fire rings. Too windy when we were here to use anyway. The park is relatively large. The sites are also relatively spacious. The office staff was ok, neither friendly nor unfriendly. Some of the other staff were friendly... Read More

Some of the other staff were friendly but some were not. The water in the park went out during our stay due to someone breaking a pipe and when my wife asked one of the staff when it would be fixed he replied, "when it gets fixed". Clearly, this person should be kept away from the customers. Restrooms clean. The park is several miles away from town. We would stay here again if necessary but would rather try one of the other nearby parks. We stayed here in mid-April and all the other parks were full, so reservations well in advance are a must.

Of all the RV Parks we have seen from a distance the KOA has the best appeal for sure, it is also very close to all the beautiful and scenic areas around Moab. We can highly recommend this campground.

Very nice park with great view of the mountains. Some highway noise but not too bad. Have to drive through the town to get to Arches NP. Shady sites.

Bathrooms are private very clean. There are 6 bathrooms clustered together around the park. Pull in wide sites with gravel pads. Water, elect, and sewer connections were very good. Great reception area and laundry room. The game room needs to be updated. Pool was in good condition. Staff was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Park is good shape be prepared for dirt roads to your site. The park is about 4 miles from town and about 7 miles from the Arches National Park. If you check in early... Read More

Good sized spaces, and a nicer park than 90% of the other parks in town that cater to big rigs. It was a little South of town which was nice too. Staff was nice, laundry facility was nice, however, aesthetics were awful. If your rig size allows it, stay on the other side of the park from the freeway. The side near the freeway must be newer? Freeway noise is non-stop night and day (which is through no fault of the park), however, with 80% of the sites empty, I wonder why the few big rigs were... Read More

Freeway noise is non-stop night and day (which is through no fault of the park), however, with 80% of the sites empty, I wonder why the few big rigs were placed in the last row next to the highway? This side is also very bare...wide open desert/dirt spaces, not much green around. Overall it was good for two nights to see the National Parks, but wouldn't want to stay an extended time here. Unfortunately, the really nice campground we saw in town is not listed on the Good Sam site.
