What a disappointment! This was our 3rd time staying there, the last being about 3 or 4 years ago. It used to be great but not so much this time. Had a tiny site with a dead tree, broken cement, table in the dirt, patchy lawn with more weeds than grass. The pool was dirty and the bathrooms are still clean but showing a lot of wear. They pavement around the bath house was cracked and broken - weeds growing everywhere. No more fenced dog park. And for this we paid almost $200 for 2 nights? Not likely... Read More

We enjoyed our stay at this park. The scenery is great, and it's nice to have shade, although our "shade" tree was struggling and didn't provide much of the precious stuff. The pool is lovely, although a heated pool when there is a 90 degree plus heat dome was a bit much! We took to swimming at night, and the lights and fountains made it feel quite luxurious. We didn't use the bathrooms, and the wifi was so so. We were the third row back and the traffic noise could be a bit intense at times. All... Read More

Love this place so much! Lots of PROS: The new pool is cool. Fabulous restrooms, showers and laundry room, better than the norm. And we had a shade tree! Yay! Oh and the kindness demonstrated in the front office is refreshing. A little bit of kindness goes a long long way - but these ladies we worked with gave us more than a little kindness -they were down home, Texas style kind.
Being in Moab, we know it's going to have higher prices. Part of visiting activity towns. Sites are deceiving in that I thought it was going to be hard to level but it was pretty level. Office and staff were great. Laundry clean and fair prices. Didn't use bathrooms so no rating. Wi-Fi could be better. Overall, happy with the stay
Wife and I stayed 7 days here during our trip to Moab. Facilities were great and staff was very friendly. Great park only suggestion is try to get a site away from highway 191 side. It was not that noisy but farther back in the camp would be better. I would recommend.
Friendly efficient staff. We were double pulling a UTV behind a 5th wheel so are about 65 feet long total. Were able to maneuver through the campground and to our site without issue. Didn't give a 5 star because I thought it was a bit pricy but then I'm pretty frugal.
Stayed here for an extended period over Thanksgiving. RV park is within reasonable distance of town, as well as National Parks. RV park is clean and the bathrooms are excellent (individual rooms with showers + heated). Nice views of the red rocks to the east and west of the park, which is nice at sunrise and sunset. Overall park was fairly quiet. Water issues were prevalent while there... with some sites closed due to water issue and then the bathrooms were closed (although they did make repairs... Read More

It would be nice if they allowed campfires as most of the other nearby parks do, as that is all part of being out in the open.

What a wonderful park! Due to COVID-19 our check-in was contactless. Everything we needed was in a packet waiting for us outside the office. Our travel travel trailer overall is 38' and we had no problem maneuvering thru the park to our site. Sites are nice and wide and trees at almost every site for some shade. The park was neat and clean. The restrooms were the best I've every seen- spotless! We didn't use the pool but it was open and families looked to be enjoying it. Great place to stay... Read More

Great Place!! We traveled from Florida to experience Utah, and this park was one of the best we stayed. The staff was so accommodating I can't praise them enough. The sites are close together, but plenty of room to park your RV, and we were escorted to our site. The view and location can't be beat. It is located south of Moab, so no worries about the hustle & busell of the city. The facilities are up to date and well maintained. Cable & WiFI were great, no problems there. A group of us who own Class A motor coaches stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful RV park. We stayed here in 2018 as well. However, I had to knock down my review to 3 stars because their internet connection is terrible. Not only for me but for all our group of 4 motor coaches. Their internet connection is completely unreliable and only stays on from 30 seconds to 1 minute. So if you what to have fun but still connect to the internet for business or communications this is a real challenge.... Read More

I went to the office and they gave me a special way to connect, but that only worked for a minute or less.
Wonderful park, but needs to upgrade their internet connection network. In fact, I am writing this review from a RV park in AZ and it has great internet connectivity and is dependable.

I appreciated the park calling me before arrival to insure that I would be in and had everything ready for me. I arrived late and my packet was available at the door. There was plenty of room between sites. Sites were level and easy to get into. Sites were gravel with a table and concrete runners next to the door. There was a designated parking space next to the RV. We were there 3 days to see the Arches National Park. There was some road noise, but not enough to be annoying or bother our sleep. They were in the process of up grading their facilities. We were there prior to the normal tourist season and some of the things to do in town and in the area were not yet open. April 1st is the opening of their season. I had been through Moab several times at various seasons and the late spring is the best time. Can be hot during the summer.

The temperatures were moderate during our visit so the landscaping was not a factor during our stay. There are trees at every sight but it's hard to say how much protection they provide from the heat. We liked this park even though there wasn't anything fancy about the accommodations. The staff was great and the restrooms very clean.
My husband and I are newbie's in the camping world so did not know what to expect in camping facilities as we ventured off on our 33 day adventure. We were very pleased with Spanish Trail RV park. The sites are a good size, the park clean and in a great location on the outskirts of Moab. Cable was good, WIFI like most parks was adequate. The laundry facility was clean and the machines all worked. This was also a Pet friendly park which was important to us as we were traveling with two small dogs. After traveling for 33 days and staying at numerous RV parks we can honestly say we would recommend this RV park to anyone going to the Moab area. We would not hesitate staying there again.

We stayed for 5 nights. The staff was Super and very helpful. The only complaint I have is that it was hot in the showers and they need more air conditioning in there. It was a good stay and we will certainly stay here again!,
Arrived to find out I was assigned a back in site. Asked the gentleman helping me if he could upgrade me to a pull through. I offerred to pay but he would not take my money. Overall a decent place to stay a night. It was quiet and clean.
Nice campground we enjoyed our stay very much
Sales associate very helpful. We had a fifth wheel with an extra jeep and boat and trailer and were given a site with plenty of space to fit it all. Grass and a rock walkway in front of parking site. Pet friendly. Small area for pets to run. Location is out of the main town area so was pretty quiet at night.
acceptable showers and toilets RV sites are nice staff extremely friendly had a great stay at this RV site can highly recommend
So overall the place is nice. Why low stars? 1. The trees were dropping some sort of sap onto my truck and 5th wheel camper. I had to scrub that stuff off my camper roof when I got home and it wasn't fun. I have solar panels and don't want sap on those. 2. When I made the reservation there was no way account for all those in my party. So I didn't notice that they charge more if you have more then 2 people over 10 or so. 2. When I made the reservation there was no way account for all those in my party. So I didn't notice that they charge more if you have more then 2 people over 10 or so. When I arrived and checked in as I was leaving the checkin place the lady said do you have any kids over 10? I said yes 2. She didn't say anymore and I left. Well, moments later I see any email charging me for my kids. What? So I then took a closer look at their rates page and I did see it there but there wasn't a way to account for that during the reservation process. No one likes surprises!!! If you are going to charge for kids account for that upfront! This also means to me they are not family friendly! There is no extra cost to them for extra people in an rv! This isn't a hotel. There is no free breakfast, etc. 95% don't even use the bathrooms or showers. The little interaction I had with staff, they were very nice.
3. 1of the 3 toilets in The men's bathroom was clogged for 2 days. Those that weren't clogged were comercial grade toilets. The one that was clogged was a house toilet with low flow for flushing.
4. Internet was pretty much useless. I had to use my mifi most of the time. Sometimes theirs was fine other times it was horrible.
All that said it's better then most RV parks. My wife really liked the showers and the women's bathroom and she had good things to say. Yes I am critical!
We stayed for 4 nights.

Really enjoyed our experience here in late March/early April of this year. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. A quiet park, nicely treed and has good views of either the La Sal mountains in front or a gorgeous red rock cliff behind. Washrooms and showers were very clean. Internet was fast but seemed to be on again/off again though the new hosts did say they were trying to address that issue. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Moab.
It was very clean and quiet. We will stay again ASAP. I hope we find more of these.
Convenient location, close to Arches and Canyonlands. Well maintained and very clean. The park staff are very friendly and helpful. Wonderful refreshing pool and 2 hot tubs to soak your aching body after exploring all day. Community grill area is great for get-togethers of large or small groups. I highly recommend this park to any and all travelers. I will stay there in the future.
I agree with the Good Sam Rating of Spainish Trail RV Park. We are very satisfied with the Park, the office staff, and amenities. There are 65 digital cable TV channels and picture quality is very good. WiFi has a good signal and connectivity is dependent upon how many people are using the system. The best connectivity is early in the morning and after 8:00 pm. We washed clothes and the washer/dryers worked very well. We would stay at Spainish Trail RV Park again. RV Pilot
I have nothing bad to say about this park restroom is clean the laundry room is very good in the lot is parked on was very good. The help was courteous and very helpful my cable would work in the trailer and it brought a pourable TV out and checked all her leads even my leads so that I could determine it was in the trader itself.
Stayed here 5 nights, July 2015 I admit, I was concerned about it being sooo hot, in a camper, in Utah from reading other reviews. It seems to be difficult to find a campground with trees. Spanish trail is the place to be if you want some nice shade trees but not too big to interfere with your setup! I was afraid it was going to be brutally hot like other reviews I've read. I did not wanna come back to a sweltering hot camper after being out in the heat all day. I almost cancelled going to Utah.... Read More

I admit, I was concerned about it being sooo hot, in a camper, in Utah from reading other reviews. I almost cancelled going to Utah. Thank goodness I live in 100 degree weather with 100 percent humidity, it made the "heat" in Utah quite a pleasure. It is NOT that hot in Utah! On with the review.....
I didn't make a reservation because that's how we planned our trip, no plan. I really didn't think we'd get a spot here, let alone for 5 nights. Called while we were on the road and they had a spot for us, no problem. Checking in, the staff were very friendly and gave us lots of info, very nice people. Pulled into the site easily, hooked up and we were good to go. I loved the concrete walk on the site, had nice shade trees on both sides, nice and clean table, it was perfect! There were a lot of campers there but it wasn't full. It was quiet, for the amount of people that were there, not much action going on, which to me is a good thing. Yes, there is some road noise but it's not that bad like I've read in other reviews. We were on the second row. There's one main road through Moab and every campground sits off of that road. You don't hear road noise in your camper at night.
The whole facility is great, bathrooms, very clean and comfortable to shower, laundry room, everything worked fine and I don't complain about the cost, it's not that bad, I don't mind paying, where else are you gonna go to wash and be able to sit by your camper comfortably and wait, with a beautiful view. It's not far from grocery stores or the shopping area. There's a gas station and a restaurant right across the street. We walked to it. Very convenient location and out of the chaos of downtown Moab. Too much going on down there for me. Easy ride to Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse. This was the perfect campground for us and what we like, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle.
Do not leave your awning out! We were lucky enough to experience a wind storm while there. We were warned! Wind started kicking and we jumped in our chairs to enjoy it. It was like sitting out in a hurricane without the rain, it was awesome, until the dust started stinging us and getting into our eyes. It was a lot of fun but that wind will rip your awning off. We did fold up our chairs and tuck things away at night because of the wind storms. It will take the chair!
This is the place to stay if you wanna be close to everything but away from it all. And, after seeing where all of the other campgrounds were we were even more pleased to be where we were. Every time we passed other campgrounds we said "thank goodness we got in Spanish trail"!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we are able to have a chance to come back. I would recommend Spanish Trail to everyone I know!
