What a nice place to stay! The park is very clean and well kept with obvious care given to ensuring guest comfort. The dog run is small and many people don't care to pick up after their pet even though bags were readily available. The check-in process was easy and our assigned site was as expected. There is some airport noise due to its proximity, but no flights after about 10:00 pm.
This is a nice quiet RV Park in a semi urban/rural setting next to the Provo river which is interesting to see from the upper river bank walking path. The river runs down to the state park and out into Utah Lake, all close by. It's very clean and organized. The only reason I give it a 4 is because of the awkward way some of the sites are set up with adjacent hookups and they are a little tight, but do-able. Yes I had to unhook my tow car to get into my slip, but we wanted to go shopping anyway... Read More

There's also bike trails going in and out of the park and the park has a marina on the Lake. Very cool if you like the water and bike riding. It's only a few minutes from the freeway and next to the airport, but the airport is small and noise is very minimal. I would totally recommend this place.

The wife and I needed to rest after driving south bound on 84 through Salt Lake City. They state really needs to finish paving that stretch as I am going to have to retighten every bolt and screw in our new RV, lol. Seriously though, it wore me out so I went on the Dyrt App and searched for the closest RV Park outside the city and under $1,000.00 a night. Lakeside RV Campground popped up for $42. Called to make sure they had space and talked to Stan. He is AWESOME! Got to the Campground and it... Read More

Called to make sure they had space and talked to Stan. He is AWESOME! Got to the Campground and it was very clean and had several of the large lots open to accommodate us with our vehicle in tow. The 30AMP power was sufficient to run a couple loads of laundry and keep the RV at a comfy 70 degrees while outside its 32 and lightly snowing. Received much needed rest and had a great stay. 5 stars experience...

Appearance on the website is deceiving as it's not quite as plush as it appears however, it is still a very nice place to stay. It's very quiet, staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Lots of tall trees for great shade. Would stay here again.
I'm sure there are a select few sites in this campground that are `ok'. We did not get one. I had reservations requesting a pull-thru site to accommodate a 24' travel trailer and F-150. We got a site that was so crammed into our neighbors and a tree and the streets we barley fit (with our actual 21' trailer) I always say a longer size to this doesn't happen. Our truck nose had to hang into the street so we could pop out our slide and still open our door! I would highly NOT recommend this as a stop. Read More

Didn't use their restrooms, only reason not rating. This place was amazing! Beautiful, convenient, clean, family/pet friendly!
The name is misleading, not beside the lake. They should have named it Airport RV Campground, it is beside the Provo airport. They jam more RVs in by having a common area between the RVs which is usually a patch of grass. The other side has the utilities for hook up for two adjacent RV's which means very little space in between RVs on that side. We moved twice due to substandard power on the 30 amp hook up box. They measured with a voltmeter which showed the voltage was 114 volts at the plug. Inside... Read More

We moved twice due to substandard power on the 30 amp hook up box. They measured with a voltmeter which showed the voltage was 114 volts at the plug. Inside my RV showed 105 volts without the air conditioner on or any other load. This was insufficient to safely run my single air conditioner on a 28 foot 2019 Newmar class A motorhome. We moved to another site which initially was reading 117 volts on the manager's voltmeter. He went to "check the mains" (circuit breaker panels on the office building). For some reason our voltage at the plug had dropped to 111 volts. He thought half the RV was affected on one transformer. We went to the other side of the parkland he found that several plugs were lower than standard voltage but found one plug that was 120 volts. Fortunately that space was available for us and we took it so we were able to safely run our air conditioner if needed. He said they would have to call the city of Provo to have them bump up the power supply to the RV park. Overall, this park was ok and we are thankful that they were able to move us a couple of times to find a suitable power source but I would not be in a hurry to return to this park for any reason.

Not only does this campground not have "long" pull thru sites that they say are 58 feet, the sites just barely accommodate a 40 footer with little or no room for a dingy. Additionally, the attendant checking me is was rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this campground to anyone. I will not be using this campground again.
False advertising! They say "bring your computer" because we offer "free WiFi". It did not work in our site. It was still very spotty from in the office. I work using the internet and homeschool. I needed to be able to download/upload files. The only reason we stopped at Lakeside RV was to have the benefit of the internet. They said "it's not fast" and were completely nonchalant about my expectation that it would work. The internet basically did not work. I ended up needing to run my phone's hotspot... Read More

I ended up needing to run my phone's hotspot to accomplish the most vital tasks. Their pool was nice. The showers were nice enough but the shower walls were not clean (dirt build-up and hairs). The dumpsters were full. If they didn't advertise WiFi then I would give them 4 stars.

Small but pleasant place if you like looking into your neighbors camper window 2 feet away. Parking spaces are designed as doubles. Sewers are shared by the close neighbor who has to park face in while you park face out so both can use the "shared dual camper facility setup". We requested what they call a pull through for the night so we wouldn't need to unhook on our way to Moab, which is NOT even close to a pull through with a toad (we notified of same first). We requested what they call a pull through for the night so we wouldn't need to unhook on our way to Moab, which is NOT even close to a pull through with a toad (we notified of same first). I got stuck in the middle of the road trying to unhook my Motorhome's toad since turning into the "pull through" is impossible due to narrow slots on top of one another. Ever try to do that when the toad is at an angle to the motor home? I spent 20 minutes with a hammer and steel tap to get them unhooked.
These spaces are so close I had to have my wife stand outside while opening slides so as not to hit a post or pole.
For a small towing camper you might like it. Too many choices to return here. Did not use facilities so rated them average as I doubt they're another above that.

Nice wide lanes. Utilities very easy access. Lawn on every site. Nice shade everywhere. Nice little store, friendly people.
This is a very nice park. Sites have lots of room with big shade trees. Very quiet and well maintained. Friendly staff. I would recommend this park and stay again.
Front desk and propane guy were excellent. Park had a god truck Saturday night for all guests. Great food!
The park was really nice with shade and grass. The only problem was we were so far from the bathrooms, we chose to not use them. It would have been better if there was another bathroom closer to the back area. The staff was nice and the site was easy to pull thru and level. We would stay here again but request a site closer to the office.
We stayed here one night on our way through the Salt Lake area. The staff was friendly, the campground was clean. Gravel roads but not dusty, some grass between sights. This campground is not lakeside, so don't be mislead by the name. You are very close to the State Park entrance which is on the lake. We did go explore the RV camping area in the state park and it was loaded with mosquitos! Would not recommend staying there! We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 3 nights in our travel trailer while on our way to Alaska. It was great! We had a nice pull thru site with picnic table. The wifi was good as was the cable tv.. Wonderful fenced dog area (bigger than a usual run) for our dog to exercise and it even has a place for giving your dog a bath. Staff in the office were helpful and friendly. Laundry facilities were very nice and I used them. Pool not open yet. This park is right next to the Provo river and there is a path accessible... Read More

This park is right next to the Provo river and there is a path accessible to it. There are lots of shady spaces and many trees here. Also just down the road 3 minutes and walking distance is the Utah State Lake State Park....fabulous.The road basically dead ends into the state park. Across the street and over a couple of miles is the small Provo Airport. Allegient Airlines flies in there once or twice a day
with smaller commuter jets, which might bother some people but we rather enjoyed watching them approach the runway and then take off up towards the snowy capped mountains. Mainly though it was just small private planes. It was not that loud to us.
We did not see any dirty, old permanent rv's there as one review mentioned. We did meet one permanent resident who lives in a very nice late model motorhome.
We highly recommend this RV park, and we certainly will go back there again for a longer visit. It was very, very clean and well maintained.

We stayed here over theThanksgiving Holiday for 7 nights. The park owners and campers are very friendly. There are some full time people here and they are very accommodating. We had some problems with our tow vehicle and had to extend our stay two nights. One of the full timers noticed that and stopped by to see if we needed a ride anywhere. I look forward to coming back sometime in the summer. I would defiantly stay here again.
Nice park. Clean restrooms and showers but a bit cramped. Many "resident" campers but not a problem. Nice walking trail around the park.
Wi-Fi does not work lots of spiders & bugs
I was skeptical when I read some reviews but I was glad I stayed here. There park attendant was nice and helped us find a spot that had satellite access. (some sites do not because of the trees). The sites are gravel and level and have picnic tables in the grass in front of the RV. There are some that are full timers in trailers there but the RV visitor section towards the back area is the place to be. Good Sam has rated this facility highly. Maybe it was 20 years ago, The grounds are dirty and unkempt. At least one third of the spaces are taken by probably section 8 low income housing. Much junk and other possessions around these trailers. I stayed there because of the rating but was sadly disappointed. Don't go there.
I am disappointed with the rating that Good Sam gave this park! While walking past some of the extended stay sites it had a trailer park feel with the overuse of lawn decorations and blaring music. The bathrooms are quite clean, but there is a 2 hour closure for cleaning every day from 11a-1p (check out is at 11a). Most of the sites have nice shade, but are very close together, They are long enough that you aren't (passenger's side) door-to-door with your neighbor, but allow just enough room to... Read More

Most of the sites have nice shade, but are very close together, They are long enough that you aren't (passenger's side) door-to-door with your neighbor, but allow just enough room to walk through between the driver's sides. We felt compelled to keep our curtains closed since the neighbor's windows lined up with ours and they were only about 5 feet away. Our site had a sewage dump but is built up with cement which caused our hose (and slinky stabilizer) to be lower than the intake. Fortunately we had fully dumped the previous day so my husband chose to only dump the Gray tank.
The small stream behind the RV Park was swampy and has no access to the walking path on the other side. The nearest access to the pathway is about .5 miles in either direction when leaving the park.
The volleyball area is unusably small, but the play ground is a nice size. The pool is located right next to the main road and offers little to no privacy.
There is also a busy airport directly across the street, but I believe it was closed overnight as we didn't hear any air traffic.
The office staff were polite with me, but were curt and unfriendly with my 16 and 17-year old kids.
