Great little campground, right off the highway but no road noise. Great host and staff. The restrooms were closed while we were there, however the laundry room was nice and clean. We could only get 6 channels on the cable and some days they were snowily. Lots to do around there.
Nice clean campground…..right off of highway but really couldn’t hear anything. Bathrooms were closed so unable to rate. Had cable but really only about 6 channels…..good Wi-Fi…..nice host and smooth check in….would stay again.
This park is small and lovely. We camped right on the river, beautiful spot and enjoyed just listening to the river. The owners were very nice and accommodating. When we arrived they give us a bag full of goodies including a list of sites to see and the directions to get there. I haven’t seen that in any other campground on two trips across United States. I would definitely recommend this park and hope to come back again sometime. We did not use their restrooms- closed for COVID.
We stayed here our first time in July and then again this past Labor Day weekend and I cannot say enough good things about this facility. First off everything worked perfectly, electric, wifi, cable no issues at all. Second the grounds are very well maintained. And last but certainly not least the best hosts anyone could ask for. This area of the NEK is very special to my wife and I as it is where we have scattered our daughters ashes and we feel like Moore River Campground is our second home and... Read More

We had a wonderful stay in our little Scamp. We will see you next year!
The Moose River Campground is a beautiful and well-appointed facility. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They provided lots of detailed information regarding things to do and see in the area. All the sites were well maintained with excellent water, electric, sewer and cable facilities. They were level, the lawn and landscaping were beautifully maintained and the other campers respected your site. It is a great campground and we will definitely tell our friends about it and we plan to... Read More

It is a great campground and we will definitely tell our friends about it and we plan to camp there again. The Moose River Campground is located in beautiful Vermont beside the Moose River. It is a great place to camp, relax and spend time with family and friends. We highly recommend it!

We stayed at Moose RIver Campground for 5 days over the 4th of July holiday. the park is immaculate. The weather had been rainy, but a break in the rain and sunny afternoon all hands were on deck to mow the grass including a sweeper to pick up the grass clippings. Saturday afternoon for the holiday a decorated golf cart as an Ice cream truck came through with free Ice Cream for all! Internet and cable tv are included in your site fees, we had a pull through with ample parking and space on our... Read More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose River Campground. We had a lovely site right on the river. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even provided a map of the area with recommended places to visit and a list of local festivals. The campground is in a great, central location for viewing fall foliage in both the Green Mountains of Vermont and the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Beautiful location. Facility is well maintained with social activities. Not a lot for children to do but adults will love the peace and quiet with the sound of the running river in the background. It's a perfect location for touring the factories (Cabot/Ben & Jerry's) with samples. Wifi and cable were good. Sites are large and grassy. Didn't use restrooms so can't rate that. Very pet friendly. Make sure you go see "The Birdman" Edmond Menard and his wonderful bird carvings. The people that... Read More

Would stay if I ever come back this way again.

If you want a laid back experience sitting on the porch in front of the office conversing with other campers and the owners, then this is the place to stay. If you enjoy potluck suppers, theme weekends and a friendly , homy atmosphere, then this is the place to stay. if you don't want to pay for a clubhouse, pool or other unwanted amenities, then this is the place to stay. This is our type of camping and I highly recommend this campground because of it.
The owners (live on the property) are extremely helpful and welcoming. This is a small campground with manicured grounds. The sites are fairly level, gravel sites. But the best thing of all, is the back in sites back up to the edge of the Moose River. One falls asleep to the soothing sound of rushing water. All sites are all full hookup.
