I chose this campground due its proximity to Bull Run Battlefield, about 10 minutes drive. I realized going in there was no wi-fi, but data service was also minimal. Listed on the Good Sam website under amenities was fire ring. However, in the full service, pull thru area, fire rings are not available, although there was plenty of room behind or in front of the campsite depending on your orientation. These campsites are also narrow. A couple positives; $$$, no deposit, and cancellation without penalty.... Read More

Ok place to stay if you have a self contained unit and just need a place to stay while visiting DC sites.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to be. I really enjoy coming here.

I was very disappointed. The Good Sam ratings are misleading. The road to the camping sites is full of potholes. The sites are poorly kept. It was impossible to get our rig leveled because of the ruts and loose gravel at the site. The picnic table provided was rotted and unusable. But we couldn't have enjoyed the outdoors because the sites were over grown with weeds and I spotted several patches of poison ivy at our site. It didn't appear that anyone had mowed. The bathrooms and showers were dirty.... Read More

Very simple and excellent for folks like us that use the facilities for the night and travel onward.

There are two camping areas in this RV park. One area has full hookups, the rear campground does not. We stayed in the rear campground. This review is about the rear campground. I should have known to avoid this place when no one answered the phone or returned my phone message. I did finally get through and was able to make a reservation. All I can say is this place should not be designated a Good Sam Campground. The rear bathroom was dirty with dust balls and a dirty grime all over the bathroon.... Read More

I should have known to avoid this place when no one answered the phone or returned my phone message. I did finally get through and was able to make a reservation. All I can say is this place should not be designated a Good Sam Campground. The rear bathroom was dirty with dust balls and a dirty grime all over the bathroon. Even the dryers in the laundry room had grime in them. The screens to the bathrooms were brown with dirt and full of dead insects. The showers had a white film on them. The power outlet cover at the campsite was broken which is a safety hazard. My husband reported that the mens bathroom had dried fecal matter on the toilets. It appears to me the owners of the park just dont care, and let the rear campground go to pot. They sure took my money to stay there, however. Avoid this place. Their Good Sam designation should be removed.

Wow, just wow! We are in one of their full hookup sites and this is the LONGEST site we have ever encountered in our travels. We could fit two of our 44' 5ths in this site! We have an end site and the "yard" is huge! The campground is behind the working farm, but so far from it our view is only rolling, green pastures and woods. The full hookup sites are not in the woods so no worry about trees/branches. They do have some in the woods and lots of tent sites and non sewer sites as well. It... Read More

Stayed 3 nights and it was so nice and quiet and peaceful Green and wooded with ponds, a serene and beautiful area, but fairly close to 66, so easy to get around and get to stores and restaurants. Would have appreciated cable TV but overall a nice place to stay, would definitely stay again.

Clean campground. Only stayed for one night so we did not see the entire campground. Office and game room are dated and the access road is paved but very narrow and bumpy. Please keep in mind that this is a working farm. So if you don't like the smell of animals r famr life, this place is not for you.

Long level gravel pull through surrounded by grass. Good hookups, ota TV. Great pool. Good one night travel stop. Lots of places to walk dog. Tent and pop up sites in woods looked nice.
