We stayed here twice 10 days apart in Aug. of 23. Reservations were made early Dec. Upon first stay we picked our site in the pull thru full hookup area, set up and then checked in at office. They could not find our paperwork because they had misspelled our last name. The young lady found the problem and we finished checking in. No problem with us picking our site. Told her that our water spigot had no valve handle so we had to use the valve meant for the next door site. Upon our next stay we... Read More

Told her that our water spigot had no valve handle so we had to use the valve meant for the next door site. Upon our next stay we noticed a sewage truck cleaning a buried sewage line at the far end of the area but didn’t think anything about it. We found a site, set up in the pull thru full hookup area and then checked in. Once again they could not find our paperwork. They had misspelled our name totally different from the first visit and could not find any paperwork at all. “I hate those things” was the reply from the elderly lady when I produced our copy. I was then informed that I could not pick my own site. On my paperwork it is printed “We let you choose your site upon arrival” and on their website under “Rates” 4th sentence, and also under “Our rates and amenities Campsites:”. During check in a visitor approached her and asked which site his friends were in. The clerk immediately left me and went to help him. “ I’m in the process of checking in so could you please let me finish first” I said to the guy. The clerk returned to help me while the guy sat on a bench under a window. While finishing getting me checked in a couple walked in needing assistance. The clerk started to assist them where upon I said to all “That guy is next in line for help”. It didn’t matter, she helped them next. The next morning while draining the gray and black tanks the buried piping overflowed onto the ground. I waited 5 min. and did other chores. It overflowed 2 more times. It was then I noticed waste debris from prior visitors laying on the ground. Never did get all the tanks drained. And that missing valve handle from our first stay, it was never replaced 10 days later, I checked. The park is overloaded with permanent rv’s and long term live ins that take up most of the shady spots. We will be going on down the road….

This is a very large RV Park and has many different camping spaces. If you want to just tent camp or full RV hookup. They do not have cable TV, but do have spots where our Dish Network was working fine. The campground is a little outdated, but the owners appear to be doing some improvements. For the location being so close close to Mount Rainier, you will not find a better location and full service RV Park. They do accept all forms of payment, which is a plus.
