We were welcome in by the staff who was warm and knowledgeable in her presentation. We were traveling with 2 other couple friends who pulled their RV next to us. We were going to e bile as this RV site is close to biking trails. Beautiful and well maintained with all the amenities. We are enjoying our October vacation here.
This is a jewel! We had no idea such a wonderful rv park would be behind a business park! Deb was great, very helpful and the grounds are lovely with a green space between each road. The pool was perfect and we’ll look forward to our next stay!
I booked *THIS* RV park (instead of one closer to my family that I’m visiting) for the shade trees and the alleged good pet policy that I was told over the phone. Long phone conversations at booking about wanting to be able to see family knowing my dogs were safe while I was gone…in case the AC went out. I did not request any specific numbered spot, but it seemed like I could safely assume it was NOT in the full sun. Checked in today to see the pet policy is NOT as lax as I was told at booking.... Checked in today to see the pet policy is NOT as lax as I was told at booking. Walk the dogs along the asphalt road in 98 degree heat for the fenced dog park. Oh? I have old dogs…they don’t need a “park” environment, just a safe place to potty. After pushing the issue, I was told that I suppose they could use the grass area between the pull through spots, but it did not seem preferred.
Then I got to the allotted spot. See the dead TINY tree photo…. 1) no shade…and it had zero chance of it when making my reservation over the phone a month ago. 2) the plastic cover over the outlets was broken, then poorly masked to look as if it was one piece. 3) There are obviously water issues between the 2 emergency shut off emails today and the dying grass around my assigned location.
I pulled an employee over to show them the broken plastic (to ensure I couldn’t be blamed) and I was told that I could probably move spaces, but I’d already plugged in for the AC with my pets on board and had the “never leave your pets unattended” policy pointed out in the office anyway.
If I were the manager trying to get to pimp out for high reviews, I’d personally be working harder on putting people in better empty sites when they aren’t full. An extra $28/night for a false expectation and resort services I’m not officially allowed to use. Consider me unimpressed.

Great park , easy checkin, space are long and level, good elec&water. Only problem is no cable service but plenty channels over the air.
I booked this park from out of state after seeing the 10's across the board on the Good Sam website. I think that this rating may be old. We booked for 2 nights but left early after one night because we didn't feel comfortable there. There is a very large amount of permanent residents and several unkempt rigs. Directly behind our 5th wheel, we witnessed what looked like suspicious activity. The gals in the office/store were very friendly though.
Expensive rv park. Upon hooking up, our cable tv did not work. Management had to be talked into coming out and help install box. Still didn't work. We had to sit at rv the entire next day waiting for cable tv person to come and fix. He was able to fix cable but didn't leave until after 5. We were not able to do any of activities we were planning for day. Asked office staff twice about rate adjustment. They were not able to help and said they would pass on request to management. We were there a total of 6 days and never heard a word from management. They never responded to request. With rate of over $50 day, we expected better service. Wifi was also spotty. We also were placed in a spot that had sprinkler issues and was muddy when other sites were available. Will not go back and do not recommend.

We stayed overnight at the Horn Rapids RV Park. Greeted warmly by the park host and given a sizable folder with information on the park and things to do around town. The sites were generally okay but a number were seriously cluttered or lacking in upkeep. The interior roads were paved and manageable. Our site was a combination of concrete on the front and back of the pad with the main portion gravel. The sites are pretty close together (could hear the kids running in their rv next door with our windows closed) but have nice strips of grass between them. Unfortunately, the WiFi and cable was not working and the cell signal was weak for T-Mobile and Verizon. Calling it a resort is stretching it a bit and would rate it a 3.7 but have to round up for the review platforms to a 4.0. But if in this area in the future, would consider staying here again.

Efficient & Friendly Check-in clean facility & bathrooms. Nice Laundry facility & the Office sells Quarters Machines do not accept cards
Great park and staff. The restrooms and showers were a 10!
We stayed 5 nights over 2 different times within a few days of each stay while traveling through the area. The park is a little bit of a drive from I- 82 along I-182 to WA-240 (Exit 5) on the Northwest side of the tri-cities area. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV's but there is some congestion from the vehicles parked along the road. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's.
The 20 P/T sites have generally flat, level, gravel parking pads. They seem to be for short stays. The BIs seem to be for long term stays from the appearance of the items on those sites. The park was pretty close to full. The P/T sites were long enough to stay connected to a toad. The P/T sites were encumbered by trees which had to be cut by the escort to prevent the limbs from scraping the side of our coach as we pulled in. The majority of the parking pads face East-West so no shade created by RV's on the patio side.
They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the rear of the sites. The sewer connection fitting was at about ground level so establishing a downhill flow is dependent on the discharge point. Distance and grassy areas establish privacy between the sites. All sites have an outside table but no fire pits.
The trees in the P/T sites could interfere with satellite reception depending upon dish configuration & RV placement on the site. The park has a pretty well established tree canopy so satellite reception could be hit or miss. Park information showed 79 cable channels but made no mention about OTA broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.
The park provided password protected WiFi was difficult to establish & maintain connection. Had to use our Verizon WiFi hotspot. Didn't use the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception.
There was one designated fenced pet area with a grassy surface. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste in the fenced pet area. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads and common areas.
We would stay here again if in the area.
TIP: They provide a welcome package that contained valuable information about services (medical, veterinarians, churches) and recreation in the area.

Very welcoming when we arrived. The park is very pretty with a great variety of fruit trees in bloom. The grounds, gardens and facilities are well maintained. Pride in ownership at this rv resort. We are in a 38' motor home, towing a jeep and the large pull thru sites were easy to get in and out of. We will be back! Thanks for the hospitality.
The good and the bad. First, the good: Clean, attractive, pleasant views, with trees, green grass; and rural but fairly close to shopping. Recommended for short stays. The Bad: mostly full time residents with a number starting their motors, making noise, and going off to work weekdays between 0400 and 0630. More residential than recreational; more mobile home park than RV park or resort. Recommended for long term and sound sleepers.
We thoroughly enjoyed Horn Rapids RV Resort. The club house was great. The sites were large with nice grassy areas. We appreciated the well-stocked store. The nearness to the Tri-Cities made our travel to various sites simple. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Others were enjoying their pool which was quite nice. The grassy game area was nice. It was a nice quiet park. We would definitely stay here again.
Second stay at this resort. Each person there is genuinely concerned for the resort and the comfort of each guest. Great views and located close to groceries and golf. Smooth access to the site. Great place.
