This is one of our favorites parks in Washington. Large sites, friendly staff. Very close to a great hiking area and river. Our dog absolutely loves it there!

We wanted to stay 3 nights to visit the nearby national park so we tried to make reservations on line but the website wasn't working correctly. We emailed the park directly but never received a reply. Because our reservation at another park was fouled up, we had to find a site when we arrived in the area. Fortunately, there was a site available for the 3 nights we needed as there aren't many options in the area. The park is located in town. It is a short drive from I-82 (Exit 33 or 34) along... It is a short drive from I-82 (Exit 33 or 34) along secondary streets. The park was undergoing some road work so there were some rough obstacles to overcome but the project was being finished on the day we departed. The interior roads & back in parking pads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV's. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. This park seems to understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level parking pad as most of the them were level but some required blocking. The camp loops (sites 17 - 36) have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the center of the sites. The sewer connection fitting was at ground level making it easy to establish a downhill flow depending on the discharge point. Distance and grassy areas establish privacy between the sites. All sites have an outside table & fire pits. Orientation of the sites caused some not to have any shade on passenger side. The camp loop sites had a few trees that could interfere with satellite reception depending on site assignment and dish configuration. The P/T's were under an extensive tree canopy making satellite reception difficult at best. No cable. The park information didn't mention anything about broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. No park provided WiFi. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about cell reception. No designated fenced pet area but there was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste area the park. We would stay here again if returning to the area as it is much better than the other choices in the area. TIP: Check in time is 2 PM. Apparently the time is firm as when we arrived there were several RV's waiting around until 2 PM to occupy their site.
