Stayed Thursday through Sunday on a pull thru site. The sites were advertised gravel with grass. What we got and saw on other sites was something totally different. There was gravel and grass a long time ago but now mostly mud. The sites are crammed so tight together that even if there is grass there is no room to enjoy it. As for piece and quite, forget that. The camp ground borders I64 and major train tracks. We are definitely marking this one off our list.
The customer service is superb. The pull-through sites are super narrow. Since they weren't busy, they gave us 2 sites. For future stays, I would book a back-in or a deluxe pull-through. This campground is situated between an interstate and a highway, so there is a lot of traffic noise. The right turn in to the campground is tight! We refilled propane, and used both the playground and dog park. We had great meals at Barnyard BBQ and Hillbilly Hot Dogs.
Nice small KOA. Friendly staff. Small catch and release lake, swimming lake. No pool. Only negative is road noise from the interstate traffic and trucks using exhaust brake. Internet and cable is good. We stayed for one night as a rest stop on the way west to California
Check in was a breeze. The camp office is open more hours than many other camps. Well stocked with items you might need or want. Staff assisted with direction to the site we had reserved. Then proceeded to explain all the hook ups. WiFi is very good and easy to connect. Brochure given to us at check-in is quite informative. There appears to be large number of semi-permanent units set up on the grounds. Nice swimming and area for youngsters. Very pet friendly. The staff was courteous. We were a late arrival, and they had our map ready for us with clear directions on finding our site. Our site was quite small, though others were larger. Site was level, park was clean and quiet. Paved roads and nice place to walk the dog.
We explained to owners that getting the best wi-fi signal was our most important consideration and they went out of their way to get it to us. As with most KOA's, they led us to the site and helped us site the trailer so we didn't even need to level it. Two free, no license catch and release ponds that I was unable to take advantage of because my rod was packed away. Owners said if we needed anything even after they closed for the evening, all I had to do was call. Paved interior roads made... Read More

Absolutely awful. Stayed one night on a cross country trip. Cost for "full hookup" is $45. Except the sewer line is shared and someone else is using it. Site is grass and mud and uneven. There was a young man who was very nice and brought a couple mats to put over the mud. The site was so close we could barely fit between the adjacent campers. Too bad. All the other campgrounds we've used were so nice. Sorry end to our trip.
