Campground is layed out very nicely and nearly all sites are pull thru with full hookups. Staff are congenial. Was a KOA and operates like one, but it's under newer management. Offers Good Sam discount. Grounds are clean and maintained. All sites and interior road are smooth, maintained gravel. There are just enough mid sized trees to allow most campsites some shade. Fire rings clean. Pool looks very nice. Wifi was best I've had in a campground.
A nice KOA located right off I-90 between Madison and Milwaukee. The park is organized in a fan configuration with the majority of the sites as pull through. There were an even mix of short term visitors and longer term residents. The sites and roads are gravel. Each site has a picnic table in the grass area between the sites. The sites are barely long enough for a big rig and tow if you park parallel to the road in front of your rig. The staff was very nice and easy to work with and the bonus... Read More

We needed a place to stay overnight while in the Madison area. I called before arriving at night and the man who answered was very kind and told me which sites I could pick from and how to complete the late arrival registration. I was a bit confused by the description of "50" and "60" as site areas, but found the map and picked a great site. The sites are extremely level and easy to get in and out of. The sites are extremely level and easy to get in and out of. There were many people camping for so early in the season. Water, electric, and sewer were all right there, no need to dig out longer hoses or cords. It was very quiet, even with the highway so close. In the morning, my kids played in the playground (the pool was not open in April of course) and we took a shower before hitting the road. The bathrooms were spotless and smelled nice.
Checked out and had a nice talk with the owners. I would happily stay again anytime!

Just a overnight stay. Arrived around 6 pm. Hostess was friendly and kind. A military discount was used for the 44.00 bill. The sites are close together and being there on the hight of Memorial Day Weekend it was a tight fit for my 37 footer. Electric (50amp) was available along with water and sewer, cable, wifi, as well. Typical KOA. Pool and playground for the kids. A fenced in area for (off leash) pets could have been four times the size with what land was available. I would go as far... Read More

I would go as far to say that it isn't as pet friendly as it could be. It works well for one night, but I would prefer a more spacious area if I were staying longer. It was quiet concidering the close proximity to the main roads. Got a good night's sleep and was on the road early. Fuel stops all around for the top up before a long haul. Hope this info helps, happy traveling !

Pros - close to interstate, well organized, level sites, 10 minutes to East side of Madison. Cons - close to interstate, A lot of traffic noise. Small entrance sign and poorly lite at night ! Landscaping / trees need time to mature for shade. Peak season fees ? before Memorial day weekend made it kinda overpriced
