Their tagline is "Specializing in quiet nights and secluded sites". This is EXACTLY what we experienced here. What a beautiful campground! CLEAN, quiet, beautifully laid-out sites, wildflowers everywhere, enjoyable hiking trails, an adorable office w/an impressively stocked little gift shop. Would definitely come again! Stayed August, 2020.

This is a nice campground, and all the sites are nestled in the trees and bushes...so its kind of like you have your own private spot. We stayed for 4 nights bookending the weekend, and were mostly happy with this campground. The facilities are nice, the shower house was the nicest and cleanest bathroom/shower house we have ever experienced. There are numerous trails that will take you into town, to the beach, or the docks. The day staff are very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The... Read More

They really take "quiet hours" to heart at the campground. We were sitting around the campfire talking quietly amongst ourselves when a person carrying a flashlight walked into our camp and told us that we needed to keep it down as it was officially quiet hours. To me, 9pm is too early to begin quiet hours on a weekend in the summer... Oh yeah, I almost forgot, they have about 100 different rules for this place...not kidding. They also need to upgrade there dumping system. There is only one dump station that everyone lines up to use, so be prepared to wait for awhile. Other than there many, sometimes silly rules and the dump station situation, this campground was very nice. We would more than likely stay here again in the future.

This campgrounds is a hidden gem. All the site are separated by trees and bushes. If you do not want to see anyone you don't have to. Its like having your own lot. There is a lot to see in door county. The staff is very helpful and friendly and has alot of info about the area. You will injoy your stay

I took my family here for week and overall, everyone had a great time. Door County county is a beautiful area full of great beaches and local activities. Our only bad experience was the Wagon Trail Campground messing up our reservations (right day, wrong date) and asking us to move on our last day because they had a longer reservation coming in. However, I told them we would not be moving because it was not our fault and they should just put the other people in a pull-thru lot their first day,... Read More

Our only bad experience was the Wagon Trail Campground messing up our reservations (right day, wrong date) and asking us to move on our last day because they had a longer reservation coming in. However, I told them we would not be moving because it was not our fault and they should just put the other people in a pull-thru lot their first day, and they finally agreed. Speaking of the lots, they are very private with wooded areas between each one. Just make sure to bring plenty of leveling blocks (we almost didn't have enough), because they are not level by any means. The bathrooms were clean, but there was usually a waiting line. One of the nice features of this campground is the trails that connect it to the local stores and beaches. It would be nice if they had full hookups in more than just a few lots. Overall, I would recommend this campground, as long as you know what to expect.
