Overall, this seems to be a great value – $40 for travel trailer electric and water dump station half basketball court, playground, shuffle board, GaGa pit (look it up), game room, fish cleaning station. I'll bet you can't find a better price in tourist-overrun Door County, WI. (Peninsula State Park, a mile down the road, charges $35 for electric/no water). Premiere sites have 50 amp and are somewhat larger and cost more. Center camp sites (pull-throughs for big rigs) mostly have little to no privacy.... Read More

Premiere sites have 50 amp and are somewhat larger and cost more. Center camp sites (pull-throughs for big rigs) mostly have little to no privacy. I think the best big rig sites for woods/vegetation are 208, 308, 309, 310, 403, 406b, 407, 507. Sites at the park edge for travel trailers seemed small IMO with gravel pads but have forest behind them and some vegetation b/w sites for privacy. Water and electric are next to each other on the same pedestal so I had to make sure to separate them when using the faucet. Most sites have electric/water hookup at or near one end. I had to pull out our shore line almost entirely to reach the pedestal. Roads are gravel dusty when dry. Most of the time, wifi here was slow to useless. I'll say it again: campgrounds should install high quality internet service and let campers pay for it if wanted. Bath house is super clean, with four sinks and three stalls and showers (men's side). There's no water temp adjustment for the showers mine was near scalding. Shower heads are immovable and aimed at the changing area so that the floor is wet when you want it dry. The camp store is well stocked and, from what I saw, reasonably priced for the area. Employees I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable. They even sent me an email warning about highway construction! Location is near Fish Creek, Baileys Harbor, Egg Harbor, and other touristy downtowns, if you're into that. The campground website says new owners started the 2019 season, and I hope they are successful, because I'd certainly return.
