Campground is run down, shower house had out of order showers. Pet area had holes in the fence. Campsite smelled of sewer, upon review several sewer cap were worn and broken. Front desk seemed nice, but the guys and young kid riding around on golf carts were not friendly. They also did not pay attention to the larger campers and truck around always seemed to be in the way. Our campsite was tight and had no table, all other sites around had a table. I would not recommend this campground.

This is an ok campground. Nothing special. Staff is friendly. On site bbq is good. Convient location to major attractions. Gravel roads and sites. Campsites are cramped. We barely had room to put out our awing without touching the trailer next to us. Had to park our truck sideways. Did not use restrooms.

Rudest and most unprofessional service I have ever received. Let them know I had to shower with ice cold water, and had no internet. The guy's response was not just unprofessional, it was offensive. Moldy showers, tight spots, and the neighborhood is horrible. For $55 this place is a ripoff.

We counted on the BBQ as our dinner for evening but was told it was not happening that particular night. It was crowded, tight and very noisy - passed the 10:00 quiet time. All of the facilities were dirty. It was quite. walk from our site to the restroom/showers. The dumpsters were overflowing with garbage piled up all around them. We frequent Wyoming and now that we've purchased a travel trailer we will never again stay at this campground. We can overlook a lot. Rudeness cannot.

Our first impression as a Good Sam Lifetime members is the arrival and check in protocol at an RV park and sad to say A. B. Camping RV Park left us with a very negative impression. Using WAZE for navigation brought us to the wrong entrance where it required us to make a 90 degree turn for a 45’ Motorhome with a RAM truck in tow. We had to disconnect the truck or take the gate out. Entering the RV office the owner’s wife said “You used WAZE GPS and you should never use WAZE. My husband has had... Read More

My husband has had to replace that gate on previous occasions and he would not be happy.” After checking in she gave me the RV map and specifically said to exit the park and not use the street road that we came in on and if we return never use WAZE again. A bit SNARKY. How this RV park received the Good SAM ratings of 8, 9.5, and 8 is beyond belief. Gravel dusty sites, rolls of Astro turf, piles of tree limbs, and a mixed bag of campers from tents to boats to 5th wheels, trailers, and big rigs! All this for $50 GSM rate. Our first clue should have been the fact that A.B. Camping RV Park could not send us an email confirmation! It was downhill from there and we will never return to such an inhospitable couple who own the park and on site BBQ restaurant. The only good experience was the brisket and pulled pork were delicious!

This place is a dump. The people are mean. They messed up our reservation and claimed it was our fault. I suggested they send out an email confirmation and the lady went nuts. I have no idea how Good Sam rated this place so high. Even the food is bad.

I don't think this campground deserves it's ratings. Although everything is gravel (nothing wrong with that) it isn't maintained, so the site wasn't near level. I also ended up next to a long term resident (with the usual trash all around their camper) and the shared sewer, water and electric utilities were hidden in the overgrowth of grass and weeds. I didn't use the restrooms, so didn't rate them, the staff was fine at check-in but could care less later about my difficulty in using the wi-fi.... Read More

Site are very close to each other with limited space for pets. As always, maintenance is lacking in general. I didn't get good value for my money at this park, won't stay there again and would not recommend it.

Nice campground with a restaurant on site. The only reason for 3-stars on facility is that the sites are kind of close. Otherwise, no real issues. Close to site seeing in Cheyenne and easy to get off and on I-25 and I-80. Tacos and Brisket at the restaurant were tasty. Close to fuel, groceries and car wash. Office and restaurant staff were polite and professional. Nice place to stay if in Cheyenne. Good internet reception.

This is not a bad campground but we had possibly the worst possible site location. The campground has two sections separated by a public road that is gravel. Vehicles drive this road at high speed spewing massive clouds of dust. The campground driveways are gravel and cause clouds of dust. We were located at the end of "Y" row in the front section next to the public road and next to the driveway used by anyone coming from the back section to reach the exit in the front section. We were located at the end of "Y" row in the front section next to the public road and next to the driveway used by anyone coming from the back section to reach the exit in the front section. More dust. I'd like to see a new designation for campgrounds, "dusty" or "not dusty", so that I can search for campgrounds that are not dusty. In addition, our location seemed to be in a mostly "dead zone" for WiFi coverage. I found the internet service to be excellent when I went to the laundry room but at my site I could see the WiFi networks but rarely able to establish any usable connection. We had a pull-thru site with full hookup and 50 amp electric. The site pad was gravel with a grass strip between sites. The restrooms are somewhat rustic but reasonably clean. There is a BBQ restaurant on-site but we didn't eat from there. We paid $45 per night based on a weekly rate. We would not return because of the dust.

This is an older campground that look like the owners are trying to upgrade. First impression was an unkept and dirty office. There is a BBQ resturant attached to the office which makes you wonder if the kitchen is dirty too. The washrooms on the other hand were very very clean. The office staff did not budge when we asked to move to a different site because of the placement of my slide and awning. The site we requested was empty for the duration of our stay. The "cook" and outdoor staff were very friendly which made up for the one office staff. There was another camper who requested another site he could fit in and was also denied. There are 2 dog enclosed dog runs which were appreciated. Like many other campgrounds along major routes, you have to get in early or make reservations. Would I stay here again? Yes, it is close to all attractions.

We like this park. This is our third time to stay here. Plenty of space to get in and out with our 35 ft. trailer. The bathhouse and showers were fantastic. BBQ was good and the owners were very nice. We will always stay here when going through Cheyenne.

Nice place for sleeping and touring Cheyenne, everything worked great, bathrooms clean, easy access to downtown. Nothing fancy, but nice

Not a campground in our opinion, more an RV park. The spaces near the front are spacious enough, but seemed to be used more by monthlies and long term. The spaces in the rear of the property, across a dividing road are a little tighter. You can still sit out and relax, but its close. Electric was steady, water pressure good. Nice little BBQ restaurant on the property, run by the owners, food good and prices reasonable. This is not a destination in itself, by certainly ok for a night or two.... Read More

Pretty much the best option in Cheyenne. The Wyoming State Museum is free and worth a visit, as is the downtown plaza and train station. Albany Restaurant is good.

This was our first time at this RV park. We were in the older area. Site was large enough for our motorhome and vehicle parked on the side. Unfortunately with these pads, there was no grass. Lots of dirt, gravel, and dust. We could have parked in the "nicer" area with grass, but sites looked very close to each other and trees looked low enough to scrape our coach. On the way out of the park, trees did scrape the top of the coach. Fortunately, we were just here for one night. I would not... Read More

Arrived at night, was told info would be posted on door....was not. So I parked in a empty site and plugged in for electricity. I had no codes to use restrooms, showers or wifi. Sites were so crowded I couldn't open my awning. I Paid 40.00 for this site, and was a very unsatisfied customer. When I spoke to the owner, she was rude and could care less. I would not recommend this campground to anyone

Small, quiet, private RV park near I-25, on the south side of Cheyenne. Angled pull-through gravel sites with some shade trees. Our site was dead-on level (first time). Tight spacing, so you cannot spread out to the sides. Good WIFI and cable. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry. On-site diner for lunch and dinner (great BBQ). Friendly management. Would return.

We visited this park in mid-May after a period of bad weather. That may have been the reason the park looked shabby. Grassy areas were overgrown, trash bins full, hook-ups looked unkept. We almost left until the staff found us a place in a better area of the park. The reason we would go back, even with these problems, is because of the restaurant. We don't pull a toad so have to eat in or get something on the road. They have a very good barbecue restaurant on site with smoked ribs, pork and... Read More

This is a fairly small park and not really easily accessible for large Class A RVer's. The people are very friendly that run it. Just hard to get in and out with large bus.

The pictures and ratings did not match what I experienced. Bathrooms were dirty. The showers had pink bacteria and black mold. Sinks were dirty. Dog run works for very small dogs only; it's tiny. The place was half empty but the site I was given was next to the showers & laundry. Noisy. Permanent residents had nicer spots that look like the pictures on the web site but the other sites had a few trees, dirty tables with bird poop. On a positive note, the site was level. I would not stay here again Read More

We came in late on a Sunday night. The young people working at the desk and in the restaurant (on site) were very helpful and friendly. We appreciated having a pull through site and appreciated how easy it was to find the place. We wish we would have been early enough to enjoy the bbq restaurant. The facilities were neat and clean, very nice bathrooms and showers. We'll definitely try to stay there again and we already have and will in the future, recommend A and B Campground.
