The owner was really friendly and helpful when asking questions about the area. It is located just outside of town but close enough to walk to some stores. The sites were nice and offered grass and picnic tables at each one. The only drawback was the bath/shower and laundry areas were not well vented or air conditioned and were really hot and steamy.

The campground was great just somewhat bare bones. We did use the laundry but did not use other facilities. It is quiet, very easy to get to, very easy to get into and out of which all give it a big plus. Would certainly recommend for a few nights stay.

This RV park is awful. I was greeted with a negative comment about a tee shirt I was wearing. The park was extremely tight. I felt like a sardine. There was the absolute smallest dog walk area I've ever seen at a park. The WiFi was very limited. Not at all impressed.

We arrived at Absaroka Bay Campground in Cody, WY. We were told the WiFi network and password. The first night we could not get any TV reception or WiFi. The next day we connected to the WiFi. I tried everything to get TV reception, then I found out that I had not changed the TV from cable to air, once changed we got TV reception. Our spot is small. We had to park the truck in the back of the trailer. The park is clean and the grass is mowed. We were very pleased with the park and it was... Read More

Cody was a fun please to visit and a short trip to Yellowstone.

Very nice park, nice helpful staff, clean restrooms. Not a lot of mature trees, but the weather is generally cool and shade isn't a necessity!

Single handedly the worst campground we've stayed at and we travel full time. 1) Don't expect to have cell signal. Your close to the tower for Verizon but several of the FT here have apparent setups that mess up the signal within the park. Expect less than 1mbps at best on avg. AT&T is worthless here. I've been unable to work due to this, yet if you leave the park the signal is incredibly strong. No dog area except a 4' wide strip along the road covered in poop. Now the best part, we can touch... Now the best part, we can touch our neighbors slides from our window. The neighbor here said he's witnessed 5 trucks getting swiped by rvs leaving. My husband is a former semi truck driver too. You must ask your neighbors to live their trucks before you try to leave. I'd asked if the park woukd fit our 45' 5th and was snapped at "if you park how we say, yes" well there is no room for our truck we are parallel with others on the middle of road. It's bad here if you are longer than 30'! Don't do it. Their photos are so deceiving. They are not designed for big rigs! I wish I could post pictures on here.

No customer service! It's all about the grounds, not the people. Packed in but plenty of room. No mats allowed on the grass, nothing can be poked in ground. Right on busy hwy. Reserved months in advance for a week. We got HWY front property! Really?! People in and out daily, there were plenty openings away but we didn't know, they do... Yes could have asked to move but who wants to pack up? Be sure to ask for spot away from road.

We stayed here for 5 nights on a vacation trip to show our Grandson Yellowstone. This campground is very nice (except no big trees), however in June it was still chilly and was not an issue. The location, if you are traveling with fisherkids, or bicyclekids is fantastic! After driving for 3 days to arrive, we were thrilled to discover that a 3minute drive away was 3 fishing lakes, miles of paved bike paths and a BMX type bike park with humps and jumps. After driving for 3 days to arrive, we were thrilled to discover that a 3minute drive away was 3 fishing lakes, miles of paved bike paths and a BMX type bike park with humps and jumps. We old folks needed a day to rest before driving the toad to Yellowstone and a short ride away was a cornucopia of activities for our Grandson while we lounged around camp to recover from the long drive. This Nice RV park is a short hour drive to Yellowstone, and all the sights beyond. It is also walking distance (NO street crossings) from Burger King, (Grandma, can I go get an ice-cream? YES). Cody has the 5 Buffalo Bill Cody museums right in town as well. This RV park is a good place to center your vacation from!

This park is well managed and in a good location with nearly level sites, but has a few areas in need of improvement. The best thing about this park is the price, plus they called me on our day of arrival to check on us, since we were a little later than we expected in arriving. The main area in need of attention was the restrooms. The showers and toilet stalls have no doors, just a curtain for each. Someone walked in on one of the members of our group while they were on the toilet. I would... Read More

I would stay here again if in the area, but just know it is a no frills type of park....no pool, no playground, no cable TV, etc.

Nice park, good location and value. Pull through are short which causes folks to park trucks and dingys almost in the road. Just work with it, parks worth it. Don't forget to visit Heart Mountain Japanese internment camp historical site a few miles east of town.

nice campground. well maintained.

Great Place if you are moving anything under 30 feet. Site is extremely tight with trucks parked everywhere. Had to have people move vehicles twice on the way to my site.

The only negative I have about this park is while the sites are pull through they are so short you can't keep your toad attached without being in the road.

This was a real pleasant surprise! The host was very helpful when we had an issue with our RV. And the internet connection was the best in our 30 day trip out West!
