The Pros: Tiffany in the office was very nice and helpful. There's a nice mini-golf course. Our site was level and had one of the only trees in the park. Easy access. Seminoe State Park isn't far and is beautiful. The Cons: High water pressure so regulator is required, not that big of a deal. No campfires allowed. Picnic tables (where provided - there aren't many) are old and beat. No one mows because there's lots of rock, it would damage your camper. No scenery at all. Road and train noise. This... Read More

Great park for an overnight stay. Very friendly staff!! We were greeted with a smile and mint for our pillow. Such a nice touch!! Our pup was also given a dog treat. Our pull-through was large enough that we were able to stay hooked up for our early morning departure the next day.
Well-run campground offering level, gravel sites with full hook-ups. We had some issues with WiFi not being able to connect but that didn't taint our overall experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Impressed by the facilities/amenities like their complimentary courtesy shuttle for making trips into town. The entire campground is gravel, so adding some trees or usable greenspace would be a nice touch, but we would come back again regardless.
Nice campground, seems to be well maintained. Our pull through site was easy to get into and to get level. Didn't use their restroom or laundry. Plenty of fuel and food opportunities in local area. Just the RV park we needed for our one night headed home from Yellowstone.
One trash dumpster near the front entrance is the only one to service the entire park. Many "full time" residents that are not RV'ers. Remnants of asphalt drive streets can be observed in places. Actual sites are gravel with some even being somewhat level. They advertise WiFi and it even works....sometimes. On the plus side, the restroom/shower are clean and appear to be well maintained. Staff is nice and did lead us to our site. The dog park isn't. No pool. Just not our cup of tea. There are parks... Read More

My wife and I travel in a 42ft Tiffin motorhome with a tow vehicle. Wise made reservations at this park with over a months lead time. The park had a full understanding that we were a big rig with a tow when I made the reservation. We arrived on time and the lot rent was paid when I made the reservation. We checked in and went to our reserved site. If they offered me a shoehorn to help fit in the site, our rig still would not have fit. We have four slides and the lot was tooooo narrow and impossible... Read More

I had to disconnect the tow vehicle from our rig to drive the rig between two pick up trucks that were illegally parked. We made our way back to the office and told them that this place will not facilitate our rig so we asked for a refund and we would move on down the road. The owner refused to give us a refund and advised they could fit us in somewhere in their park. This park is such a mess and so dated and obsolete that I can not recommend anyone to stay here.
Be advised, I'd rather stay at a Walmart parking lot!!! I truly don't understand how Good Sam could give this place such a high rating!!!!

It was October 19th and the full hookups were unavailable. It was an older park with level (side to side) gravel pads. Arrived later in the day, so just crashed out and left early. This is an OK place and likely would stay there again. People were very nice to deal with. Fair price.
We stayed overnight at this park and the staff was fantastic. They did all the normal things very well but then offered to let us use their courtesy vehicle to go get dinner so we wouldn't have to unhook our car - I don't think we've ever had that offer before! They also gave a couple of mints with a note that "you brought your 5 star hotel, here's a mint for your pillow" - cute. The wifi was good, the pull thru was good to have and they had good tv and a well-stocked store. It's a desert park... Read More

All in all, we would stay there again based on the service and the people!

Nice campground considering that you are in the high desert. Few trees and little grass. There is plenty of room to get in and out with my 35 ft trailer. Showers are small but very nice. Nice people.
The staff is wonderful. They even have a courtesy vehicle if you need it to go to town. Sites were fine and it was quiet. Restrooms were very clean. We would stay here again.
Basically a gravel parking lot with hookups. Easy access to Interstate. RV/convenience store on site. Very small showers. Intermittent internet service. For those who do not pay for full hookups, there is a $2 fee to dump tanks. About a mile from the Wyoming Territorial prison (closed in 1988) where guided tours are conducted several times daily. There is a Wal-Mart on the west side of town. Rawlins has a major railroad line with lots of traffic.
Nice campground. We stayed in a W/E only. Looked like the FHU were mostly long term. Bathrooms were clean, laundry room was also clean. Only issue is that the dump is locked until after 8:00 AM. I saw many people stop and then just leave, including us.
Awesome place to find in the middle of Wyoming. Clean restrooms and level sites. Owners were renovating and improving the facilities while we were there. Played on mini golf and had fun in town. Owners even loaned us their courtesy jeep so we didn't have to unhook our tow vehicle. Great local eats - try Bucks!
Easy on and off I-80. Extremely friendly staff. Even received cat treats for our pet and chocolates for us. The sites are gravel and with all the full timers, looks a little shopworn. That said, I would stay here again
Very friendly and helpful owners, good hookups and cable, would stay here again.
This was our first stop at this facility. It appears to be a former KOA Campground. You are out in open, few trees, a lot of wind. Gravel roads and pad sites (somewhat level) with minimal grassy areas. Not all pad sites have cable, but air reception is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you chose not to disconnect tow vehicle they do offer a "courtesy vehicle" for your use if you wish to tour Rawlins. It was a nice, convenient stop and we would stop again.
If you are anywhere near Rawlins and need a good stay over this is the place for you! Just the nicest people you ever want to meet. We had problems with our rig and they offered useful help, were caring and concerned and made arrangements so that we didn't even have to move for an extra nights stay in order for our rig to be repaired. They acknowledge all furry friends and even gives them a welcoming snack. They deserve your business and you deserve to make these new friends during your travels.
Welcoming, friendly and helpful in all respects. Felt at home. Everything stated on web page provided and functional. Courtesy SUV available for runs into town ( a couple minutes) for those not wanting to disconnect travel trailers and the like. Gravel facility - but NOT dusty or overly noisy like some facilities with excessive/deep gravel. The expected breeze was blowing. Facility clean and relatively spacious. Easy in and out pull thrus. We were here in April - and this was our plan B. We had planned to stay at a state park, but we were snowed out. The park is completely gravel, which isn't super appealing, but it beats really soggy grass (from the 18 inches of snow that recently melted). The sites are really tight, but we weren't here during busy season, so we didn't have anyone on either side of us -- which gave us plenty of room. They have put-put golf, a dog park, and the RV park itself backs up to BLM land. They just finished... Read More

They just finished installing a brand-new wifi antenna system the day we arrived, and we had amazing signal. The bathrooms were updated last year, and they just finished putting in new flooring in their main office.
The staff was extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice staff. Parking area is gravel and fairly level. Water spigot is right on the ground, and the ball valve is touchy. Got sprayed cleaning out the connection before hookup. I really like the way they dim their lights at night.
We stayed here for one night while travelling from Yellowstone to Breckenridge CO. Restrooms and laundry facilities are the only appealing feature of RV World. No campgrounds in Rawlins have trees just open gravel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The park WiFi did not reach the campground and we needed to be in the laundry or office to use it. Water pressure is extremely high but the park loaned us a pressure reducer.
