A wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. A small but nice campground. New owners are working to make it a fun place to camp and tour the area. Great for an overnight, or a small group rally. A nice pavillion and campfire ring, small camp store. Didn't visit the cabins, but they are new and look inviting for those who don't have an RV. Sites are smaller, but long enough for most all rigs. Level, gravel sites with some grass. Would have liked a fenced dog run for our rescue. Would stay again... Read More

We picked up our grandchildren at the Denver AP before noon and did not want to waste a whole day before starting toward Mt. Rushmore. There aren't many campgrounds N of Cheyenne. This is an older campground right off I 70; easy off, easy on. We needed to pitch a tent as the kids no longer fit in the camper. It was an open grass field with with full hook-ups. The sites were large and level and the price was unbelievable $21. Older doesn't have to mean dirty - the bathrooms were spotless.... Read More
