I have visited about 100 RV parks and this is by far the best and a real bargain. Warm, inviting and scrupulously maintained, it's a pleasure to pull into at the end of a long day. Everything works and sites are level and spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and fast food places Staff is great.
We only stayed one night at this park but would love to come back and stay longer. The people were incredibly nice and accommodating and the park was very quiet. Bathrooms and showers were sparkling clean and there are two locations of them so that you are never far away. Spaces were far enough apart and there were trees and a nice little dog park. Such a pleasant atmosphere.
We stayed at this park on a stop over from CO to Las Vegas, plus we wanted to tour the Colorado National Monument which is beautiful. Staff were very nice. Spacing was pretty tight, so this is a park for transients who don't plan to do much other than stay over night for one or a few days. It's very close to some restaurants and shops, so you are able to walk to dinner if you would like. Restrooms we're reasonably clean. The park is a bit dated, but well maintained. had our worst rv experience here we have ever had. it is not truly dog or family friendly. my boys got in trouble for riding bikes and basically being in the campgrounds. a huge tree ( one of the few) poured sap all over over out RV and the flies are the worst we have experienced anywhere. if you do not want children make it A 65 and up park but do not pretend you want it to be family friendly. so disappointed and honestly disgusted by the way the woman spoke to my children ( multiple witnesses... so disappointed and honestly disgusted by the way the woman spoke to my children ( multiple witnesses from the park shared their number with us for that reason) just got to a lovely new rv park where we can resume our wonderful family adventures. we have had so many great rv parks this had def motivated me to go brag on those wonderful people.

Friendly staff, clean park with nice clean bathroom and shower facilities. Clean swimming pool. One of the nicest parks we stayed in on the trip.
We stayed at the park for two weeks, which we came to understand is unusual. There were a lot of people there for a few days, then gone. More permanent residents were in the back of the park. It is ALL gravel. When someone leaves, they drive a cart around (and around) with a rake at the back. If you are the lone RV, you will be surrounded by this noise and dust for quite a while. There are no trees to speak of in the center section, and the 30-48 row has a very weird setup. Doors of trailers face... Read More

It's good if you like your neighbors ... not so much otherwise. The cable channels were nice and it is a convenient location to a lot of places. The area is wonderful. The laundry is nice, except there were two women in their discussing how they might have had Covid and NEITHER of them had a mask on. We'll go back to the area, but probably not here for more than a few days.

Very nice little RV park, friendly employees, facilities all in good repair, spotlessly clean. Negatives are the closeness of sites, and the dog park is a joke, but you can walk your dog on leash at the state park across the street.
Easy check-in and the front desk staff was nice. The owner sure looked cozy sitting under that huge tree while his customers roasted in 100 degree heat with no shade. His coach is the first one on the left when you drive in. He waved and smiled at us when we drove out though so he must be a good person. Free wifi was awful but we enjoyed the 50+ cable channels. Fantastic laundry available near the office with very large dryers. $1.50 for 60 minutes of drying time is a good deal. Showers were... Read More

Showers were incredibly cramped with no shelves available to store personal items. Pool is tiny and we didn't try it. Successfully received several Amazon packages during our 1 week stay. Super close to Colorado National Monument.

We stayed at Monument RV Resort on two separate occasions, at the beginning of our vacation and again at the end. The staff was so helpful, friendly, welcoming and a joy to deal with. The park is very clean and the accommodations are wonderful. We highly recommend Monument RV Resort!
Wonderful campground, location, owners and staff. My husband was airlifted to the hospital in Grand Junction and friends relocated my motorhome here. Unfortunately my car battery was dead (the car wasn't hooked up correctly to the motorhome.} The owner lent me his own personal vehicle so I could meet with the surgeon regarding the surgery scheduled the next morning. While I was gone he even charged my car battery! Sites are a little close, but the resort is immaculate. Grand Junction is just... Read More

Grand Junction is just the next exit down the interstate, but don't miss the cute town of Fruita. Be sure to check out Camilla's (great breakfast), Hot Tomato (great pizza) and Dragon Treasure Chinese restaurant. And of course, Colorado National Monument.

This is a great park with remarkable owners and a great staff. I was broken down in their park with a bad alternator and a few other parts. They were very understanding, patient and offered to help anyway they could and went as far as driving me to the Colorado Springs Airport. They even allowed me to leave my coach there while I had to leave and had it repaired. I left them the keys and they kept a watchful eye and ensured it was taken care of. On another note, I also met the Texas Gypsies who are Good Sam Sales Marketing consultants who were parked right next to me and who just happened to be checking out the park for Good Sam. They were great people who offered to help anyway they could.
This was my very first trip and the maiden voyage, my experience at this park, the staff and services they provided and restaurants close by was excellent, I couldn't have been at a better place.
Thank you!!! I will be returning to this RV Park.

I found that the staff was very helpful. They directed me to some really nice bike trails. A great ride can be had by all
The first time we visited Monument RV Resort we planned on a week but stayed a whole month. We have visited several times since. To quote a previous reviewer "The owners are delightful and their staff are friendly, attentive, and care very much about the quality of their resort" I can't say it any better. The staff escort you to your site and make sure you're hooked up properly. Spacious pull-through, plenty of room for our slides and tow. Most all sites are pull-throughs. Sites are well maintained... The staff escort you to your site and make sure you're hooked up properly. Spacious pull-through, plenty of room for our slides and tow. Most all sites are pull-throughs. Sites are well maintained level gravel, which is better than other parks that try to "landscape" where you're more likely to end up "un-level" and traipsing dirt or mud in and out. The entrance pool and office areas are landscaped nicely. Large trees mostly around the edge of the park with good satellite signal. Well maintained pool, hot tub, exercise room and laundry facility. Nice supplied camp store. The park is conveniently located within walking distance of good restaurants and fast foods and there is a nice supermarket just on the other side of I70. Grassy dog area is provided, but there is a beautiful state park right across the street for pleasant walks. Close off I70 but far enough so there's no road noise. Colorado National Monument is right up the road and close to Grand Junction.

We were so pleased with the friendly staff that we extended our stay three days at this resort! We arrived with a faulty water winterizing spout which had emptied our water tank. The owner said "we can fix that" and he did! We were so impressed with his helpfulness that we rejoined the Good Sams Club. We would recommend this campground to anyone going to the Grand Junction area of Colorado.
With the exception of only 1 couple "work campers" the staff is very rude and run the place like "Myrtle Beach" If they don't like you - you can forget customer service. My sister called the office to verify how she could have flowers delivered to me for my birthday. She called the office and they drilled her with an array of personal questions that had nothing to do with the actual delivery of flowers The TOLD her that if the flowers were delivered to the office they would contact me via note... My sister called the office to verify how she could have flowers delivered to me for my birthday. She called the office and they drilled her with an array of personal questions that had nothing to do with the actual delivery of flowers The TOLD her that if the flowers were delivered to the office they would contact me via note on the door or a phone call. It was to be a surprise. The only surprise was I got no notice AT ALL. After waiting all day for my "surprise" I ended up going in to the office and there they were lying on the bottom shelf of the "mail station". I mentioned how wilted they were and that I received no notice of delivery. The next day - back to the office for a package delivery - the hourly staff lady behind the counter surprisingly not on a smoke break just had to say to me "I heard you were upset yesterday about your flowers" - DA ya they WERE live flowers - then said "we do not notify campers when they have deliveries"
Something else I noticed right off - the office staff treat work campers like 2nd class citizens - all very hard to observed,
Only the tip of the ice berg - so if you want to pay the big bucks $$ and grovel like as if still owe them more than stay here.

This park has a lot of long-term trailers that most are in a very poor state of repair and while they are located at the back of the property, when walking around the park for exercise it was very disconcerning they allowed dogs to be chained outside with no oversight staff was OK but didn't pay attention to detail. We have 40,+ coach and our spot up front was very nice in width, length and clean. Not on our repeat list.
Incredibly wonderful RV Park. Very clean, well maintained, and employees that treat you like family. Hot showers, clean bathrooms, and a spacious Laundry room with an ironing board?! You have got to be kidding - no, this place is the real deal! Make no mistake, you will not regret choosing this amazing park in such a beautiful location. P.S. The gated dog run was the highlight of the trip for our fur babies :) fresh grass, a few large rocks, and even a stump to pee on. A real 5-Paw experience!... Read More

P.S. The gated dog run was the highlight of the trip for our fur babies :) fresh grass, a few large rocks, and even a stump to pee on. A real 5-Paw experience! It might be a bit small for a very large dog, but was perfectly huge for our 5 chihuahuas.

Great place. Easy to find. Clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing restrooms. Level sites.
We stayed one night passing thru. The campground was clean and had some trees. The office people were pleasant and helpful. There appeared to be quite a few long termers but still quiet not run down. There are several double hook up sites which means trailers enter the sites from opposite directions so doors can be facing each other. Our pull-thru site was on the end of a row which was nice but the odd utility set up meant our electric cord was stretched to the max in one direction and sewer to... Read More

There are a lot of beautiful parks nearby, so, if we had time, this would have been a very acceptable base camp. After a long day on the road we were happy to be here.
