This campground is in horrible shape. There is garbage/trash everywhere. The laundry room and machines were filthy and weren't cleaned even once in our 2 week stay. It is really hit and miss on whether the employees are nice and helpful or make you feel like a burden for even being there. The fishing pond looks more like a cesspool than a pond. Many of the picnic tables are also in horrible shape and are actually a danger to use. I would not recommend this park to anyone. However, if they... Read More

However, if they took the time to complete some much needed maintenance/repairs/cleaning I could see how this could be a really beautiful place with great access to Provo River fishing.

The entire RV park was in disrepair with an old and broken picnic table and deep weeds at our site. It was so bad we left a day early, forfeiting the day's rate.
We stayed four days and had a good chance to see the in and outs of the facility, we stayed in our Travel Trailer, a 25' w/Slide. The place has a feel kind of like a different era, zero pavement, graveled roads, etc. The facilities were okay, not stellar but okay. The bathrooms were mostly clean and the showers were mostly convenient. The staff seems like they are trying to serve the customers, except when it comes to Wifi, we were able to log on and get Wifi a total of maybe an hour out of four... Read More

I'm not sure you could consider Wifi as an amenity, because it just wasn't available during normal daylight hours, if you stay up to 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning you may have service, but don't depend on it as it isn't really dependable. We had a visit from Sandhill Cranes everyday, that was neat. I also had concerns being at the base of the Jordanelle Dam in an active earthquake zone (Wasatch Fault), that might be a showstopper for the chronically paranoid, but kind of like living by the San Andreas in California.

Booked because of the location on the Provo river. This park needs a lot of maintenance. It has a tired run down look. We were greeted at our site by litter on the ground and dried toilet paper around the black/gray dump tube. Picnic table was in need of fresh paint. WiFi is advertised as available, however we were never able to log in over a three day stay.. When we addressed this to the staff, they indicated they could not even get it to work in the office...Not a value.
We stayed overnight at this campground and it was nice but we did not like that it was located very close to a dam full of water. Would not have booked if we had known. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy any of their amenities.
Overall a nice park. Be aware that the park is located about 150 feet from the base of the Jordanelle Dam. I would not have booked this place if I'd had know how close it was to the base of a dam full of water. I was quite uncomfortable about that. The staff said, "it hasn't broke yet". Since I'd already paid for the space for the night, we decided to stay. The restrooms were very nice. The recreation room was a nice added touch, the kids loved playing foos ball and pool. All free!!
